"I didn't have food this time, but it has been good in the past. Service was great, but the huge bar only had like 8 stools. Maybe some were out for repair because it will fit at least 20."

"My wife and I went to “City Tanvern” on Christmas Eve and everything was good til we gotten out bill.. we order 4 drinks of “liquor marijuana” and was charged $55 and after seeing the prices on the menu we knew the bartender gave herself a nice big tip! So unprofessional!! They have no number to call them according to google search and that’s real inconvenient!"

"We loved the diversity in clientele in this location. They have more of a classic rock type of musical vibe. It is open. Does not spotless to be a live music sort of establishment. There is a patio up front for people watching and those with their canine or other companions. We did not eat, so no food reviews. Their menu is standard bar fare, though. The bartenders were courteous. Not really a big party spot at 8pm on a Sunday, but still fun."

"Great place for me and my lovely wife to hang out at on a date night or after work quick drink. The frozen daiquiri’s are great, and they also make great shots. Their chicken wings are the best in Greenville, we get the Hot teriyaki every time we go. One visit they gave me some Damn Hot sauce on the side they have, freaking awesome. Prices are good and they are usually not over crowded. Downtown Greenville is awesome, and they make it even better"

"Came here Saturday night after we left Neat to celebrate my birthday a few days early. I was introduced to the tide/paladin slush. What an amazing idea! The music was on point and City Tavern is just a great place."
