"A group of 8 stayed at the new suites over the clubhouse which has a great set up. Very nice accommodations and staff was always friendly. Wanda and Byron were very helpful the entire trip Positives for the trip: Great value as a stay & play Great challenging course Condition of the fairways and green very good Accommodation set up of 8 individual rooms with a common area Great practice area Great replay rate Pace of play was very good Opportunities for improvement Bunker condition from hole to hole was very different Stairs to the units a challenge for older golfers (hard to fix) We look forward to returning next year"

"Spent 3 nights in Crow's Nest above Pro Shop, very nice and convenient accommodations. Golf course is a good test with numerous teeing areas to accommodate all ages and abilities. Was a little disappointed in condition of sand traps, but would give course an overall very good rating"

"Played here about a month ago. Drove about an hour from upstate SC. Was worth the drive especially using the golfnow app and paying about half the regular rate. Course needs to have water coolers. Was in fantastic shape. Highly recommend. One of the best public courses in this area outside of Arrowhead Pointe, Cateechee and Walker course. Will be playing this course as part of my regular rotation even though I have several courses closer to home. The practice facilities are the best I've seen anywhere."

"A very nice course nestled a short distance from the interstate, Chimney Oak Golf Club provided an excellent opportunity to get out and enjoy the day. This was my first experience with Chimney Oaks and I will say the experience has me wanting to return as soon as I can. The course condition was very nice for this time of year. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I am hoping to play there again soon!"

"This is a great course that I've frequented since I started playing 3 years ago. I've never had a problem with anything here except a year ago before the new clubhouse, I got served some raw chicken fingers and got pretty sick. Their new clubhouse is open and the facilities are extremely nice. Here's the catch; we were rushed for the first time ever. Then, on the same hole, some fella that was a hole ahead of us apparently also had an issue with our pace and traversed an entire fairway to proclaim how great he was in the middle of my back swing. Apparently, you have to be a scratch golfer to play this course now? I can't recommend this course to anyone that shoots higher than a 80. Otherwise, you WILL be rushed and accosted by the the other patrons. They may as well make it private. That posh attitude is exactly why regular people just go play elsewhere. I've spent thousands here over the years but not another penny from me. Which is too bad but after the ranger rushed us through our hole, we ran right into the group ahead of us on 17. Literally had to wait for them to clear the green on a par 3."
