"Food portions are plentiful, taste was worth going back for. This is mostly a to go type of place as i haven't never seen anyone eating in the dining area. Yes, you have to go into the gas station building but is off to a side room not actually inside the store."

"The food was pretty good. The atmosphere was authentic without feeling contrived. We lived in a Hispanic neighborhood at one time in California, and Burrito Express felt familiar. We're still looking for authentic Mexican food here in SC - the food we're eating here is bland compared to what we're used to. Burrito Express was good enough to try again. They did have some spicy salsas! :)"

"Exactly what you think of when you think hole-in-the wall Mexican restaurant! It is located inside the gas station but tucked away in its own corner and hidden away. Service was quick and polite. It was not difficult to understand anyone when they were speaking to you. You didn't have to repeat yourself, they understood everything I said. The food... Was awesome! I read a review that said he drives 30 min to get here to eat and I thought it was an exaggeration. I could easily see driving up here from Fort Stewart to eat and it's twice that distance. Had the house special to kind of get the feel for the establishment. I'd walk in and order ANYTHING off the menu based on this first visit. Will definitely be back and try many more items!"
