"This is always good. I get chicken, wife gets shrimp or fried steak and is always good. One of the local businesses that has been consistent for decades. While I can't include the Washington rd location in this, the Fury's Ferry location is always good."
"I want to start by saying the lady in the teal/turquoise cardigan that was manning the drive-through today was the highlight of the visit. She was positive, courteous, and energetic. It gave my experience a great start; unfortunately the food today was just off. I ordered my usual 12ct gizzard dinner (I understand that many may grimace at that), and from several gizzard-less clumps of fried dough counted as one of the 12 gizzards in the box, to the overcooked gizzards and turnips-- the nearly $17 plate went in the trash. This hasn't been my past experience at this location, so I may try again-- but that burned gizzard flavor has really left a bad taste in my mouth. It's really too bad though, because the service today was excellent and I would've love to rate this experience better."
"It's not the best place to look at BUT the food and service will make up for it. The broccoli casserole, the mashed potatoes. Some of the best home made mash I've had. The brown gravy was amazing. The green beans look pretty plain but that flavor damn sure isn't. Now the chicken. I've had a lot of fried chicken. This is some if the best you'll find. My only regret is I didn't get a bigger order of baked beans honestly. Definitely get that pecan pie if your thinking about it."
"The first thing I have to say is the food is absolutely delicious and the staff are amazing. They treat you like family when you walk in the door and always have a smile on their faces. The chicken fingers, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese and banana pudding are some of the dishes you definitely have to try. Let’s not forget you get a ton of food for your money. If you want to know what great Southern Fried chicken and more taste like you should definitely try this place out. I can’t say enough. They have always been amazing."
"Been coming here while going through Augusta for years . Very good country cooking . The portions are smaller than in the past but food is still good. Mac and cheese could use more cheese but overall really great . Friendly staff and good customer service."
