Catch Seafood

"First and last time going here. Scallops had absolutely no color on them and needed salt. The scallops were also not prepared properly as the side muscle was not trimmed off as anyone good seafood place knows to do. The Hush puppies were bland and look like something I’d buy in the freezer section. Not to mention that they put them in the juice from the scallops so one side of the hush puppies were completely soggy. There were crab shells in the crab stuffed mushrooms. Coleslaw came with both meals but we weren’t given any and would have preferred to substitute a vegetable for it but that was not allowed. Salmon portion was smaller than expected. Sweet mashed potato is literally sweet potato in a bowl without any brown sugar, butter or anything and was very bland."

"Their food is so good. It is always fresh and hot and the portions are extremely generous. My great-nephew and I split a shrimp dinner and we still didn’t finish it all. Their calamari is some of the best in the Midlands as well ! My nephew had the flounder and shrimp combo and he said the flounder was wonderful as well."

"I needed a seafood overload... so I came to Catch. Started with clam chowder, it tasted fantastic but could have been a little warmer. Grilled oysters were prepared to perfection and tasted great. The fried shellfish Platter finished off my gluttonous meal. I enjoyed ever bite... until it was time to roll me out. Portions are generous. Service was quick and friendly. I look forward to my next visit."

"Really great food for a decent price with seafood. The surf and turf was amazingly cooked to perfection and the crab dip appetizer was so tasty. Service was excellent and there was plenty of space even though it was pretty packed inside."

"My crab cake appetizer was large and loaded with crab, not alot of filler. Very good. The Salmon Rockefeller was delicious EXCEPT the grits were not. We got there kinda early (late lunch) they just needed to cook longer but I'll ask for a side substitute next time bc the salmon was worth it; a large portion cooked to a PERFECT MEDIUM. My sister's broiled scallops were cooked to perfection and she slurped down her dozen oysters on the half shell so they must have been good!"
