"We were greeted with friendly and smiling staff . We were sat promptly out server brought out drinks right away. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything from the best friend chicken to Grandma's good ole banana pudding. I mean everything we tried was amazing. All of the food was perfectly seasoned, nobody at our table had even touch the salt or pepper ..it was an overall great experience the food was excellent and such a huge variety to choose from. The staff was overly friendly and the owner walked around and introduced herself and checked on everyone dining. We will definitely be back."
"The only reason i didn't give 5v stars is because they were struggling to keep food on the buffet. The wait staff was wonderful. And the food was great. We will give them a try again. The cost would have been appropriate if the bar was full of food. But like mentioned earlier they were having a hard time keeping food replenished. When they put more fish out there was only 6 pieces. And about 7 or 8 salmon patties. The restaurant was full of people so as soon as they put food on the buffet it was gone."
"The food was ok. Nothing to brag about really. The rice had several hard pieces and the gravy wasn't that great. The chicken had been sitting out and was hard. The desert was great. For $47 for 2 people, it was plenty of food but it really wasn't worth it. I didn't want to cook and figured I'd give it a try. The atmosphere was nice though. Sorry."
"This is our first time visiting the restaurant. We saw it on local TV station and it did not disappoint us. The food was delicious they had everything on the menu... If you can't find something to eat at that place...then you don't have no taste buds. it's just like my mother and I would cook. From the time you walk in the door everyone was friendly, we went on a Sunday... it was a little wait before we was seated but it was worth the wait. They had a DJ playing nice R&B music and sometime the waitress would break out in a dance. And I will be going back making it my once a month soul food eats."
"We opted for the Meat and Two Sides. We had Country Fried Sreak with Fried Okra and Mac and Cheese. Also had Pork Chop with Baked Beans and Corn on The Cob. The Plates came with Cornbread and Roll. Your Drink also came with the Plates. Everything was Very , Very Good ! Thanks for All the Hard Work ! And THANKS AGAIN !"
