"We recently stayed here for the week and the experience was nothing less than amazing. The owners are very helpful as well as very nice and knowledgeable guest. Customer service was amazing as they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be staying again in the future."
"Very Nice, Clean, Friendly, & quiet!!! We did a 1 night layover on our way to our final destination. They have the friendliest and most helpful staff. We were greeted, quickly checked in and led to our site (patio). We found their “recommended” restaurants, grocery and gas flyers extremely helpful for our short stay. The pull thru patio site was extremely clean, level, well maintained, and easily accessible for our 39’ toyhauler. The camp store had a huge variety of camping necessities, clothing, and souvenirs. Staff was quick to fill one of our propane tanks, grab us a bag of ice and even shared to most RV friendly route for the remainder of our trip. We would/will absolutely stay here again!"
"My aunt and I tent camped here on the coldest weekend of October (2023) since the 1990's and we had a blast. It's beautiful here. The campsites are extremely new with soft rubber "rocks" for a comfortable padding underneath the tent. Electric outlets made easy access for our devices and the personal water spigot for cooking and washing was definitely helpful. Each site has newly built picnic tables and new, deep fire pits are extra safe for bonfires. Cheap, dry firewood is plentiful. They also have the newest and CLEANEST bathrooms of any KOA. Showers, toilets and sinks were sparkling! The camp store is stocked with everything you need and more, including beer and wine. I got some cool KOA Newberry vynal stickers and a couple packs of powders that turn your bonfire different colors and some cokes. When I say the campground employees and residents are the nicest, sweetest, kindest, most caring people I've ever encountered at a KOA I mean it! Russ, Deb, Linda, Babs - we appreciate your friendly support and conversation, you made our stay an amazing adventure. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks again!"
"We needed a tent site for the night. We made a cold call and not only got a site but were able to use some of our KOA points. They had activities that evening, including a taco social. The next morning (after a nice quiet night), it rained on us, but the tent site has a layered and level tent pad that sheds water and we stayed nice and dry in our (first time used) Gazelle tent. We had a vehicle trailer with our jeep on it, and they accommodated us by letting us park it off the rear of the park but within sight (much appreciated!). We DID get a bit damp by taking down the tent in a drizzle, but we got it handled and were thankful for a place to harbor up for the night. P.S. Although we didn't use it, the pool and its adjacent area were very nice and close enough to the bathrooms - just in case. The office and general store appeared to be well stocked, and the service was great!"
"The campground was very nice and quiet. We really enjoyed the stay. I did have a little confusion regarding the charge to site billing but the owners followed up pointing out my mistake kindly and provided appropriate details about the charges in response. I’m very grateful for their follow up and would highly recommend the campground. Very quiet and immaculately maintained. Thank you!"
