"I got the 4 veggie plate. The mac-n-cheese was tasty but not visually appealing. I got a double helping of the greens, which tasted great, but they were a bit skimpy on the portions of those. I also got the peach cobbler, which was ok. My parents were pleased with their veggies as well. The service was very good. Our waitress was friendly and polite. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but it seems that in the upstate, a lot of good food restaurants, are in old buildings. I would go again."
"Good ole country cooking, if one likes country eating, such as, we do. Friday, he has fried fish and extra other food to eat with the fish. Tea is free with a 3 piece meal"
"Quite possibly the most southern atmosphere restaurant you could ever find. The heart of Clemson locals live here, and this place strives off its regulars for obvious reasons. Some of the absolute best comfort southern food you can find here. Similar to esso club, but different in that it’s more of a morning/lunch spot. Super great prices with good meal deals throughout the week day. Definitely some of the best mac and cheese in Clemson, and fried chicken. Hard to compare between esso club. The staff are all very nice and sweet. Can order food for pick up easily. This type of food will you take you back to eating at grandmas on the farm on those warm early summer evenings."
"I’ve recently moved to South Carolina from Michigan. I had the pleasure of eating at Paws Diner. The food was absolutely amazing. The southern cooking reminded me of holiday meals that I shared with family around our table. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Paws Diner!"
"I had a grilled cheese sandwich with a sweet tea. Paid about 8 dollars in total. Grilled cheese sandwich itself was good. There are sauces like A1 and Heinz 57 sauce to add some flavor. Fries are great. Sweet tea is probably the best in the area. Their specials are great. My friend had a low country broil which he thoroughly enjoyed but I didn't get any photos of it. This was about 13 dollars. Fantastic place to stop by if you're in the area!"
