"We loved this hike! Wide paths almost all the way. Plenty of room for the kids and dogs. Amazing views. Can't wait to go back when the leaves are changing."
"GPS will take you to a gate with a small parking area on the left. There is room for about 10 cars, but parking along the road is also an option. We had no issues with parking midday on a beautiful Saturday. The parking area has 24 hour surveillance signs but no restrooms or garbage cans. There is no entrance fee. The trail starts at the gate and is paved initially. Once you get to a small bridge in need of repairs, the trail becomes rocks and the Blue Wall Preserve sign is just around the corner. You will eventually come to a Y in the road. Continue past the gate on the left to get to the ponds. The first pond, to me, has the best view. The water is clear and fish friends are visible. There were also many tadpoles and baby frogs. This is a great trail for toddlers or those who want a relatively flat hike. The only incline is near the beginning and it doesn’t last long. This trail is also very dog friendly."
"Peaceful hike. Did the 3ish mile loop to Lanny’s Cascade past the twin ponds. Most of the trail was lush and shaded. Lovely."
"Great place to walk with friends, family, and pets! The parking area can get fairly crowded on weekends, so make sure to come early. The views are beautiful and worth the walk! I don’t recommend coming alone as the trail takes you far from the main road."
"Great little hike. My 4 year old and my 12 year old walked it with ease. Has 2 nice ponds and 2 waterfalls. The main waterfall appears if you continue straight once you appear at the first pond, the 2nd waterfall appears if you take a left at the pond and travel down the path a little. You can see over the waterfall, so you have to be careful. It was fun and shaded. The only thing that was worrisome, is the homeless man living under the bridge with his 2 knives laying out while he slept. That was a bit of a surprise."
