"Wife surprised me with my first ever fly fishing experience. I anticipated catching more trees than fish but boy was I wrong. Scott is a great guide and immediately got me on some fish. I caught a good many fish that day. Had so much fun I purchased a rod and some flys from his shop. Then I headed down to the chattooga and caught (& ate) some nice browns with the new found knowledge Scott taught me earlier that day. Go up to hatch camp and have you a good time."
"Wow is all I can say, camped here by the stream and was able to catch a personal best trout. The owner Scott is one of the nicest ppl you will ever meet and he is an exceptional guitar player. He even has a stage by the river played the night we camped. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!!!!"
"Great music ! The people made you feel at home . And the river is beautiful"
"My two teenage sons had a guided fly-fishing trip today at Hatch Camp. It was a terrific experience! Scott was a great guide - knowledgeable, patient, and fun. The boys were catching fish left and right and had a blast. The 4 hours passed very quickly! I would highly recommend a fishing trip at Hatch Camp with Scott - he helped create wonderful memories!"
"This is indeed the coolest trout fishing ever. Easy access and great fishing. They also have an occasional laid back live music event. Scott is a fantastic guide and excellent guitar player. Music events draw players from all over. Camping is available also."
