"My son and I chose to eat lunch at Shugabears yesterday after a recommendation from someone at a local museum in Walhalla. We are so glad that we took that person's advice. Located conveniently on the main part of the square, there was a huge variety of foods on the restaurant's menu for both breakfast and lunch. We focused on the lunch menu (burgers, sandwiches, wings, pizza, calzone, pastries, danishes, scones, donuts, cinnamon rolls, speciality made cakes, etc.). The food was freshly prepared and was phenomenal. My son had the Sasquatch burger and homemade fries, and I chose the special of the day, a cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both meals were absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were large. The owner said they prepare each meal fresh when ordered and.use local meat and produce vendors. We had had a difficult time trying to make up our mind about which desserts to buy. While we were too full to eat them at the restaurant, we gladly took some cookies, scones, etc. home with us for later. (My pictures do not do these justice because of the glare from the glass.) The owner was super friendly and the service was great. They have a super cute atmosphere. The restaurant and the restrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. They sell a wide variety of cutesy gifts and food items. We would highly recommend this restaurant. I do not think you will be disappointed."

"Based on one visit: Had the gravy biscuit and bacon, both of which were pretty good. Service was on point. Bought some some sweets so if this review isn't updated in the next few hours, those were good, too."

"Nice folks and great treats. Just went for dessert this time - pastries and ice cream. The pastries were tasty, and the ice cream was some of the best I've had. I'll definitely be back and will try a meal next time. Oh, and while I didn't partake this time around, they have a crazy assortment of sodas."

"Discovered this place last week and have been 3 times since then! Pastries are good, the cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had (Pumpkin Cheesecake is AMAZING). Today they had cannolis and that was so good too. This evening I finally went for food and HOLY MOLY. The pizza was soooo good. The crust is perfection. The wings are huge and juicy & the “Stingin Honey Teriyaki” was killer. In addition to the food being great, the owners are the nicest people!"
