"Ordered an item to pick up they took payment and stated we could pick it up between 3 and 4 on this date. So I drive an hour out of the way and get there at 3 they say let me go get it. Come back and tell me they had 6 when I ordered and paid for it now they are all gone. Said they sold them since I ordered it .then as I'm there the employee sends me the cancelled order from her hand held device. What is the purpose for ordering it if they sale it from under you. They did said oh well sorry"
"Update**** I was just called by the manager of Sam's Club and we had a great conversation, that was both productive and informative. They assured me that they will address the issues I outlined. They did repair the drink machines, having to escalate the ticket to get it done and they did in fact go purchase extra mustard from a sister store to address the great mustard outage. It seems like many places, the pandemic left them short staffed and some of the new hires didn't or wouldn't work out. They are trying to raise those standards and I believe they are working on it. Kudos to Sam's Club for reaching out to me and addressing my concerns. 11/13 I know it's just a cheap sundae, but I'm pretty sure this isn't the way they taught the worker to make them. 11/7 Where do I start? Your Sams Club in Easley needs attention. The primary issues revolve around the cafe and how it is run and also the cleanliness of the area. For weeks I tried to order a brownie sundae to no avail. Everytime it was the same answer, we don't have brownies. Maybe remove the item from both the menu board and the app, or better yet, doesn't Sam's Club sell brownies? Maybe the manager could go get some from the store or bakery and cost them out so you can offer the items on your menu. It is obvious that the cafe has no manager, or one that does not care about customer care or customer perception. The last time I used the app to order, I stood waiting at the counter for around 5 minutes while the clerk took orders from those in line, despite the fact that I had ordered on the app and waited sometime before going to pick up my food. Today I tried to order from the app and was greeted with the message that the cafe was closed, which clearly it was not as I could see they were open and taking orders. My conclusion? The app ordering was turned off because someone does not like taking orders from it. Today the ice cream machine is broken, again which happens, especially if the machines are the same as at Mickey D's. Also, no mustard. How can you sell hotdogs and not have a primary condiment like mustard? Once again, does the store have mustard for sale? Why doesn't the cafe manager or store manager just go grab some and bring it to the cafe? Simple problems solved with simple solutions. The other issue, the area is never clean. Tables are dirty, the drink station is dirty, the condiments dirty, and usually there is water on the floor from leaking machines, not today however, although the wet floor sign is out just in case. It seems like a management problem. A culture of let someone else do the work, that's not my job. I know hiring is difficult, but maybe staff the store with more workers, and hold them accountable to do their jobs. Rant over, as I eat my hotdog without mustard. In some states, that is a crime."
"Due to many surgery, I haven't shopped in quite awhile. I loved every minute of being in Sam's. Whish I had more $$, I could have stayed all afternoon. I'm ready to go back!!!"
"So I went to pick up a rotisserie chicken today. When I got to the back, there were members already waiting, frustrated that the chicken was done but no one was there to assist them. Apparently they had been waiting for over 20min & requested assistance multiple times. I personally requested assistance twice & waited an additional 10min before someone came to assist. Unfortunately, that person was untrained and unfamiliar with what to do. So it took about 10 -15 more minutes to get the assistance needed. It was truly a frustrating morning."
"I’m glad there is a Sam’s Club in Easley. Back in the day if I shopped at Sam’s, it was the dreaded drive to Woodruff Road in Greenville. Some of my favorite items they no longer have in stock, not a deal breaker. There is ALWAYS some thing I don’t need, but manage to put in my shopping cart. My go to for gas."
