"Got our pool noodles and staff was so friendly"

"I asked where the piping/tubing and connections for pools could be located once I entered the store, as I was asked what I was looking for. Instead of pointing me where I wanted to go, the employee just wanted to ask me a bunch of questions and try to mansplain everything he thought I needed to know. None of which was helpful. He was not understanding what I needed and did not care to listen. Very frustrating. I left angry and without purchasing anything. I will not be back"

"Here is a feather for Rory’s hat!!. We have not been able to get our pool clear no matter what we've done. Today I was speaking with Rory, I told him my valve in recirc would not have water coming out of the pool jets. He immediately suggested that if my multi position valve had been changed it could have been installed in the wrong position. This made perfect sense, when I got home I took the valve off and started to examine the position of valve block in various positions relative to the inlet and outlet lines. Our pool man installed this valve last year at the end of season, and did not index it correctly! When in filter position it was actually in recirc and just flowing water and not running thru the filter. We have spent hundreds on chemicals and frustration all summer in not having a clear pool, actually next step would have been emptying 15000 gallons and starting over. Which would have been pointless, Rory’s experience nailed this issue.. thank you again for this! Sent from my Galaxy"

"My roomates and I have been going here for two years and I wont go back ever again. I never post reviews but this is the last straw. The products are too expensive and I found what I needed at Lowes/Amazon for almost 100$ cheaper. They reccomended redundant products to me and the staff has been unprofessional, judgmental & elitist to me and my roomates more than once over the last few years. They overload you with information, dont listen when you ask questions, dont listen when you provide details and assumed you know nothing about pool chemistry. Once I got the printout of my water chemistry it took all but 5 minites on google to realize their scam. I found the staff, specially the woman there, very rude and unprofessional. Most recently, when I decided not to buy all 6 products that she was pushing on me and I asked for recomendations on simplification, her response was to storm off, make a sarcastic comment, grab the most expensive/biggest version of two of out of the three products I wanted without asking. She laughed and shook her head at me during checkout. I couldnt believe the lack of respect that she had for me just becasue I didnt have 200$ to spend. But at the checkout the manager/owner was laugning that the woman would have to do something "really terrible" to get fired, so if you go there just keep in mind the level of "professionalism" that is acceptable here! Anyway, I spent 70$ on something that could have been only 25$ on Amazon. I need another product they were selling for over 30$ that I found for about 9$ at Lowes. I cannot reccomend against this place enough."

"If I could give no stars, I would. We showed up to this store at 10:05 after it opened. There was a sign on the door that said “be back in 10 minutes.” We ran errands and came back by several times in the next hour and 20 minutes. The lights were all on in the store so we began knocking on the door to see if we could get anyone’s attention from inside. A man got out of his car in the parking lot and stumbled toward us grumbling while he unlocked the door. He had been in the car watching us try to go in the whole time. As he grumbled he said, “This is a one man show sometimes people need a break.” He was very rude and obviously heavily intoxicated. All we wanted to do was give them our business. We obviously did not go in and took our business elsewhere. Completely unacceptable."
