"Docs pool care was looking after my elderly father‘s pool. It has been unusable for a full summer. They blame my elderly father when they are the ones being paid to maintain the pool I arrived the other day to my father‘s house, when the cool pool was being clean, they left and it was filthy. I fired Doc’s Pool on that day. I hired another pool company out of Summerville and they had it looking perfect within two days. Stay away!"
"Similar to all the other reviews posted about this company, "worst pool company ever". Do not hire them. They are extremely unprofessional. They quote you one rate, and then charge you way more. The tech had 2 no call no shows to our Saturday morning appointment. His wife answered the phone and stated "he overslept" after we had already changed our schedule for him. Jeff is a terrible technician - he ruined our concrete, didn't even fix the leak, was careless, never once showed up on time and was all around unprofessional. When we called to question the upcharged price and complained about our service, instead of being cared for, we were yelled at and told to never call them again. But then she called my father who helped set up the appointment for me and threatened to take him to court. I have never dealt with such poor quality people in my life. I am not sure how they are still in business but please take my word and find another company!"
"It seems like they are really busy and shouldn't take on more work that they dont have the man power or time for. Unless you are a "regular" customer, you get put on the back burner. They only visit they showed up for they were very late, without a phone call saying they would be late (i called to find out that they truck was in the shop) so I dont hold that against them, just call your customers to tell them you are running late. Another issue popped up, that's related to the first issue I called about. I was told Monday or Tuesday and I said Monday, they immediately said we can do Tuesday, so ok Tuesday (than why offer Monday?). I reached out late Tuesday asking if they are still coming and they said it will probably be Wednesday. She apologized for being late and suggested to maybe try another provider. I cancelled the appt for Wednesday and went somewhere else. I think they try their best, but they shouldn't try to take on more than they can handle because it leads to reviews like this. If they were able to fulfill needs I would use them again."
"Do not use this company, dishonest and disrespectful. They left our pool filling, for days when we were out of town and flooded our backyard 83,000 gals they said they would pay for some of the bill then refused to take responsibility for any of it. This company is a joke they also said they would no longer do our pools service we were nothing but fair and respectful to this company and received nothing but disrespect in return. As soon as a problem arose. You will regret using this company."
"Wish I could give zero stars. Called to request an appointment to winterize my pool. Was told that it would be $200, plus a $40/bottle charge for “the good algecide”, for a total of $280. I said that seemed steep and that I was going to call around and price check. I received a call later and the person I spoke with said she was mistaken and that “the good algecide” was now included and that the total price would in fact just be $200. That should’ve been my warning sign about how these people do business, but I foolishly made the appointment anyway. The day of the appointment my husband left work early to be at the house, and sat around and waited but the tech was a no show. A few hours later I check my email and they have sent me an invoice requesting payment for the work that was never done! When I called to tell them I would not pay the bill because no one showed up, I got hung up on. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable pool company.."
