"Easy walking but it's an over 9 miles out and back trail. Bug spray is one items that we recommend to bring otherwise you will be attacked by bugs!!We forgot to bring a bug repellent spray and we ended up going back out to highway 17 and went a nearby dollar general store..."
"Beautiful trail! And beautiful scenery. No bathrooms, but is stroller friendly (for the most part, there are roots/stumps to navigate over)"
"Looking for ways to get out of the house during all this quarantine time... we spent the afternoon hiking here and loved it. Trails were pretty wet but we didn't mind, we enjoyed it. Long trail and lot's to see. The trail is right along the water so beautiful views and neat bridges all along."
"Gorgeous trail; started at the canoe launch at the end of Rosa Green Rd and did the hike as an out-and-back toward Buck Hall Landing. Bonus: if you do it this way, parking is free and you get a bathroom break and cute picnic area in the middle of your trip. Views are nice, and the path is lovely if you're looking for some peace and solitude---I spent six hours here and, if you don't count wandering around Buck Hall Landing, I only ran into 2 other groups on the trail itself. The biodiversity is stunning; lots of neat plants and critters to check out if you're into that thing. Massive living oaks, pines, palms, beautyberry, a snake or two, and all sorts of crabs, birds, and orb weavers on the trail--I was also lucky enough to see some dolphins playing in the marsh! Yeah it's buggy as hell, but the trail runs along a waterway in the middle of the south---so, duh. Wear protective clothes, bring bug spray, and also make sure you have water (and maybe a few snacks). Highly recommend!"
