"My friend and I visited after Second Sunday on King this past weekend. We ordered two martinis and a tuna tower. The tuna tower was just okay. I wish we chose something else. What upset me the most was that we were not finished with the Tuna Tower and the waiter came over and took it away while there was still some on the plate. He did not even ask us if we were finished with it yet. We kind of just sat there and stared at each other in shock. For $36, we would've liked to have finished our appetizer."

"Lg house ROACHES are as fat as trained pigeons and behave the same …right at home!!! The second a breeze blows anything off your table onto the floor below, raise your feet and skirts bc they flock to it faster than you can blink and are not shy!!! We asked to be moved to a different table we were treated horribly by the waitress who rolled her eyes as if she didn’t have time to be bothered and her immediate response was let me just get your bill… we’d just arrived and our drinks and appetizers had just been served.. we hadn’t had a chance to touch it bc we wanted to move! Her response was absolutely unacceptable, acting as if if we don’t like the roaches then we can pay the check and leave! As she rolled her eyes, she told us in an annoyed short manner that it’s a roof top on the coast and it’s out doors… as if its a v normal occurrence. I’m glad we hadn’t ordered much to eat bc we paid the check after the second table already had food on the floor beneath it and there were about 8 lg roaches attacking it as well. Roaches are possible in any out door space but if this is the norm on the roofs, then the kitchens and bar back must be gross! Finally, to make matters worse, this place is highly rated and I was entertaining guests from out of town visiting Charleston for their first time. How embarrassing!! If it’s the norm up on the roof then all the restaurants in Charleston that are ground level with some open / sidewalk tables would be crawling with them as that’s near the gutters (especially when it rains)… but that’s not the norm at all and I’ve never been stressed and had to move seeing any bugs when dining at the restaurants in Charleston either on or off of market street area.. I’m looking for the videos we took and will be adding them soon… We will never be back here! Update: photos are added now. I didn’t take them my friends did, but this is the second table! The first table we were at had much larger ones (grandparents to adolescents). I am posting bc it was so stressful to experience this. Also in hindsight, I’d like to add that I picked up our tab because I don’t argue over bills abd even tipped the rude waitress a low dollar amount, but we should have just left the drinks we’d ordered on the table and informed her that the roaches could pay the bill. We had one round of drinks with our appetizer and I’ll agree with all the other reviews I’ve read here today. They were over priced & not good. …I can’t speak of the views bc I couldn’t stop staring at the roaches and worrying they may crawl up my chair or the table! Many of these critters were as lg and fat as my big toes! Avoid this place! Charleston has many better options for good drinks and views!"

"Nice view and cozy atmosphere. The waiter performed his duties to a minimum level. There was even a plastic straw from previous visitors on our table. I don't want that kind of service anymore. All dishes are made of plastic, even for wine. So never come back."

"Great spot for late afternoon drinks and sunset views. Great food and atmosphere for a true Charleston experience. Worth the time!!! Paviliontini and Pavilion Pool Martini are awesome!"

"We were in downtown and in the mood to check out a rooftop bar. This is easily one of the coolest. You walk into a nice fancy restaurant snd head to the back last a hotel check in desk. Take the elevato straight up and are met with a cool pool bar. Small pool with some chairs and then around it are several high top tables and a small bar. Appetizers are good and drinks delicious. Great spot."
