"The worst part about my visit is that I couldn’t stay longer! Everyone from the Valet to the front desk staff and the restaurant wait staff were a pleasure to interact with. My room was clean and welcoming, with a wonderful view of Charleston. Marriott’s Concierge lounge never disappoints, with tasty late night snacks and a great breakfast spread. Can’t wait to come back!"

"I regret to say that my stay at the Charleston Marriott fell short of expectations. The rooms were notably dated, detracting significantly from the comfort and aesthetic one anticipates from the Marriott brand. Additionally, my stay was marred by unexpected fees that were added to our bill, for reasons that were not adequately explained or justified. Attempts to discuss these charges with the hotel management proved futile, as the manager seemed indisposed to engaging with guests' concerns. Based on my experience, I would caution others when considering this particular Marriott hotel."

"From the minute we walked through the doors, I was impressed! The front desk staff member allowed us to check in a bit early, the place smelled cleaned, and the room was perfect. I was with my daughter checking out the College of Charleston and we were only a quick 10 min drive from the campus. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"This hotel is great!!! Self-parking was easy and abundant. We always found a parking spot. All staff I interacted with (housekeeping, front desk, bartenders) were great. Hotel looked and smelled clean. Beds were VERY comfortable. 5-stars just for the beds, honestly!!! Room was surprisingly quiet... none of the noises you usually hear in a hotel. The AC system was also very nice. (Not that typical window unit you often find in hotels that have the freezing-then-hot sleeping experience!) Only con was no microwave in the room. Other than that, perfect!"
