"I attended the first annual Take Back the Night for Colleton and Hampton counties here last night. It was hosted by Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill and sponsored by Hopeful Horizons. It was a powerful ceremony in a breathtaking location with pristine weather."

"Quick stop on the way to Florida. Visited this courthouse today with the family. Surprisingly they gave us a tour. It was awesome to see this 200 year old property and also see where recent events occurred. So surreal to actually be here. The people working here and showing us around were awesome and friendly."

"I have visited many courthouses throughout the States, and this one is one of the more unique. While I cannot attest to the level of justice administered in the courtroom, or the fairness of the judges, I think it looks nice. It has a tall memorial to the fallen Confederate soldiers and women from the county, a nice lawn, a law enforcement memorial, some beautiful live oaks, and an informational sign detailing the history of the place to the SE of the lawn. Worth a visit if passing through Walterboro. Conveniently located right near downtown. Cheers."
