"We had an abandoned motorcycle left on our property for two days! When no one came to get it, we called the Pickens County Sheriff's Dept., and Office "Atkins" came to our home within less than 30 minutes. After finding no identifying information on the motorcycle, Officer "Atkins" instructed us to call ANY towing company and have them pick it up! We want to thank Officer "Atkins" for his assistance, and his courteous and professional demeanor! This man is an EXCELLENT example of what GREAT Public Service is all about! THANK YOU SO MUCH Officer "Atkins"...we appreciate YOU!!!"

"Last night my boyfriend was having car troubles on the way home from the lake after his fishing tournament. He had to pull off on the side of 123 at 11pm with half of his boat still on the highway. Cory and Jeffery showed up and saved the day. They were so helpful and so nice. Just wanted to let y’all know that these guys do their job the right way and they are two awesome police officers. "I found that after reporting an incident that happened at my home that the Sheriff Dept. handled it more than a Professional Caring people. Officer Adam McJunkin was first to come out and helped me so much in understanding what I needed to do, he was kind and pleasant to talk with, I found him to be very professional in his duties. Also Officer David McKenzie who investigated it was more than professional in his duties, he went above what most people in other towns I've lived helped me out a lot., and there was a Sargent in the records department went beyond his duties to help me get a report by bringing it to my house since I was unable to get it due to my disability and age. This to me shows that for a first time victim of a crime that I can be Proud to be under the care of the Pickens County Sheriffs personal. All did a very professional attitude and showed that they cared about my situation. I just want to Thank All of them for helping me when I needed it the most."
