Reviews
"The preserve paths are very well maintained. There are a few spots that can be rooty but overall it's a great place for a walk, run, or ride."
"My Fur Babies love this Nature preserve. It's very beautiful and relaxing to take a walk through the park."
"Great woodland and wetland hiking paths (non-paved) with several circuits to choose from, and adequate parking opportunity. The wetland area is interesting, but was almost dried up when I got there, due to continuous drought. Variety of wildflowers (visited in October)"
"Wonderful walking trails! Best in Spartanburg! Some trails are very easy, others a little more strenuous. Very well maintained. Picnic tables are also available in a nice clearing down the Power line Trail which connects to the main Cottonwood Trail which parallels Lawson Fork Creek. Have seen many deer & other wildlife here. Several access points, w/ Trail Map, at different locations, but parking is limited. Also, don't use the trails after a heavy rain as some areas flood becoming very muddy and mushy."
"It is a great spot to take a walk, jog, or bike along these trails. Plenty views of the creek as you go along. Shade from the trees covers you from the sun for the majority of the trails. There are places to sit down and rest or eat some lunch or a snack. I didn't notice any restrooms along the paths, but I could have missed them. Overall, it is a very peaceful place to get out and enjoy some nature."
