"Suddenly became very obvious that guy vitetta was not a neutral party in the mediation of my case. It seemed that my soon to be ex spouse had two lawyers working in their behalf . Their original lawyer and now guy vitetta who seemed very instrumental using scare tactics such as telling me how terrible the family court judges are in dorchester County and how unfair they treated people in case's such as mine. Going on to name judges names and laughing while stating that I definitely didn't want my divorce case to go to court. Never once did he say a single statement or comment that was remotely close to a compromise of any form between my ex spouse and myself. Just threatening me with what property and items I would lose I reported this matter immediately to the SC Bar association with hopes that no one else will be treated this unfairly or be subjected to this inappropriate behavior again by guy vitetta as a Mediator again. If your attorney tells you that you will be using guy vitetta as the Mediator in your case Do your self a huge favor and refuse! It cost me dearly with the worst possible outcome I could have been ever imagined!!!"

"At the beginning of mediation I mentioned my single sticking point to which I could not compromise. Guy's tone / attitude completely changed, almost like he did a 180 and he became very rude towards me. He cut me off several times while I was speaking - talked over me and he evening ended the entire call literally while I was speaking. His abrupt end to the call and his rude behavior was (according to my attorney) very unusual for mediation. I have just learned from opposing counsel; Guy has now written something in an attempt to make my character look unreasonable in court. It is my experience working directly with Guy that he is NOT an 'unbiased' mediator but in fact a mediator who is very much biased, incredibly unprofessional and rude. Would never use again, would never recommend to any of my friends, family or colleagues. Be wary of this mediator."
