"Great downtown location. Plenty of great places to dine in the area and if you familiarize yourself with the Dash Downtown Shuttle (210, 211, 213) you can travel to your downtown destinations for free. Our one bedroom, bath with walk in shower, and basic kitchen was perfect. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the pillows were just right. Just be aware that parking in not cheap in the area and valet parking is $30 for owners. Next downtown visit to Charleston and we will be back here!"
"Advantages: Conveniently located in the city so you can walk or take the shuttle bus to activities. Friendly staff! Coffee in the lobby. Disadvantages: Noisy partying and music late at night on weekends. No laundry facilities in the building."
"Central location on King Street. Comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated. Friendly staff makes you feel at home. Many wonderful restaurants with in a short walk."
"First time at this Bluegreen location which is the second and newest in Charleston. This King Street location is great. There are tons of really yummy eatery options. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We easily walked Downtown strolling along a shop filled King Street. There is also a free shuttle."
"We stayed at this Bluegreen resort location over spring break for two nights. The location was really nice because it is really right in the middle of the city. We walked down to the historic area which is just along the shore/walk way. The shopping was really fun. The room felt very historic with exposed brick walls. The kitchen is just tiny with no dishwasher. So I would recommend washing your dishes before you use them since the prior guest could only hand wash or rinse the dishes before you. The kitchen which probably should not really be considered a kitchen is just tiny. There is very little counter space or a place to put together food. The tiny refrigerator was nice since we had purchased some cereal and milk for breakfast. It was a little tricky to put together some sandwiches with the very tine counter space. There was lots of space to put suitcases. The studio/one bedroom felt spacious and very nice. The bedroom does have a partition from the sitting room but it is technically all one room. There is not any doors to separate the bedroom from the sitting room if you were hoping for some privacy. You do enter the room through the hallway and then the bedroom area and then walk through to the sitting room. I would stay here again. You do have to valet park your car. I had read online that there was parking across the street which seemed cheaper than the resorts valet parking but the price the garage across the street was advertising was for 12 hours NOT 24 hours. So the resorts valet parking was cheaper. It was nice that you could take out your car if you needed to leave. I visited a garder in the area and took out my car without having to pay again for the 24 hour period. We declined the owner update so I cannot report on time the owner update was taking at this resort. Since we were there over spring break it was interesting to see how many women were in nice summer dresses and men in pink button shirts and nice pants. There was a big part of the people on the street that looked really nice. There were college students as well in torn jeans but it was fun to see everyone looking nice. It was spring break so this might not be the norm. I were to stay in Charleston again I would try and stay at this location instead of the other bluegreen location. We stayed at both on the same trip and liked the kings street a little better. It was closer to everything and the other location has a lot of bars in the area which play music until 2AM in the morning. The Kings street did not have that noise at night. The other bluegreen location was a little more spacious but I would stay at this location again."
