Reviews of Scottish Inns Richmond Hill, GA
"This place was cheap! Which is why I booked it. Priceline also had it listed as a three star hotel, which is a joke! It’s a pretty sketchy setup and location so it’s good I don’t freak out easy. It was mostly clean, but stained. I always check for bedbugs and it passed! But the sheets have stains and the chairs too. They had some plastic covered stool in there too, that was stained. The shower was pretty gross and weirdly rusted, and the sink handle came right off if you pulled it on at the right angle! It was a little noisy from road noise but not people, which is always good! My biggest issue honestly, was there was no chain lock or the like on the door, just the regular door locks, which is a problem for me. When I’m staying somewhere that others could potentially have a key to the door, I like to have a little assurance that if someone once to come I have at least one line of defense only I control. Either way, it was what it was, I survived but I wouldn’t stay again!"
"Lady at the front desk was very rude for no reason. Nasty attitude. The room was nice. Didn’t smell. Bath room needs updating. But hot water was nice. Breakfast in the morning. Weekly stays are a rip off."
"Very walkable. Very affordable. Super convenient. Food and dining within walking distance in either direction. Also right off the highway so it’s extra convenient. Clean as well. The only thing is the bed is very firm and that can be uncomfortable for some, but some people like firm beds."
"So this place is a cheap deal. The location is easy to get to and still get around savannah.savanna. the staff was super nice and made checking in easy. Also the place felt safe. No creepy people lurking around. Now the negative or the reason why it is cheap. This place doesn't clean their rooms very well. I found loads of dead flies in the drawers (btw most were broken) in the coffee maker and on the bed. The floors felt gritty. When I searched for the plug for my phone I had to move the bed side table a little bit and there was dead worms and more flies plus normal dust dirt. The shower rod fell off as soon as I touched it. And lastly but not the least, the ice machine had mold in it as in very visible green mold on the dispenser part. I do recommend the place but just be sure to wear something on the feet and be sure to wash and don't get their ice until the dispenser is cleaned."
"Room smelled great (yes great), was clean. Shower was strong and hot. Only downsides were no coffee for the coffee maker, very small TV, and dusty on top of the fridge. It's a super cheap hotel close to a lot of restaurants and markets. The staff was also very nice. I would stay again."
