Reviews of Lucy Craft Laney Museum
"We had a great tour guide. Shared so many things. Not just about Lucy Craft Laney , but people from the CSRA and the Delta connection for the museum. Nice to learn about a legacy of excellence. Side note: I do wish it had more interactive things for children. Great history that should be shared with everyone in the CSRA. Huge thanks to the staff."
"Attended Kwanza celebration very informative great host/ hostess with songs and demonstrations. All free, even the buffet. Will inform others and bring a group next year."
"The staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Tony provided a comprehensive overview of the historical background related to Lucy Craft Laney and the strong community ties. The space was absolutely breathtaking. My family and I look forward to visiting again soon."
"We recently arranged a field trip to see the museum, and more specifically, an installation of art work honoring women artists. The space was clean, elegant, warm, and inviting. The installation was amazing with beautiful artwork in several different styles. The artist talk by Rhian Swain was informative and inspirational. I'm looking forward to coming back for the full museum experience."
"A fascinating place. The director has been there since its conception. She was very knowledgeable and the museum is full of Augusta's history. It also has works from local artists. There is a place for children's classes."
