Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast - Fort Jackson 1551 Barbara Drive, Columbia, SC 29223

"Although some has had a great experience here at the Hampton Inn SC, unfortunately for me my experience here had me feeling like a minority. I went from having a room on the 5th floor to the 3rd floor down to the 2nd floor an hour after check in. Second of which the ironing board has a bend in it with a sharp edge, (not good for any safety issue) O.S.H.A. would have shut them down until an overall inspection is done. Neither the less another ironing board was not available and I had to use one with a sharp edge on the end of it.. Totally Not Good for Hilton... Breakfast was great and a great host."

"Every stay there has come issues with Hampton Inn NE Fort Jackson. No shelves in fridge x2. Elevator not working twice. Power outage. The ac/heat would not shut off when it reached temp. Either no heat or survive the excessive heat. Rooms are seldom ready by your check-in time on multiple visits. Today we used app to check-in and pay, but no digital key. They confirmed at 5:40 room needed to be check. 5:45 room was opened up but clerk insisted we needed to pay. But we already did and had confirmation via app that payment had been approved after room was opened in the system. But the clerk still insisted we had to pay. The payment went thru on app for $279 (proof was provided). But the Clerk charged us $283.33 one minute later. We provided proof of the second charge. The clerk had the nerve to say we have to deal with our bank he has no control over the second charge. He refuse to deal with the second charge. I think we have given this hotel too many opportunities to improve."

"My kids and I stayed here while Transitioning to a new place With that said the time We have been at hotel has been awesome.. management and all Team members were awesome and very kind to us . The room amazing it was Spacious and defiantly had a cozy feel’! Very quiet hotel. The Breakfast was Always on point kid And pet Friends was Defiantly a plus shout out to the front desk staff you ladies And gents are doing a great Job keep up the good Work! Have a merry Christmas"

"Great rooms, clean and comfy. Love the location easy access to food, shopping, and friends. The staff is friendly and professional. Reasonable price and earn points for Hilton Honors. This is our go to hotel when visiting family and friends in Columbia."
