"The ship and it's crew are very helpful and friendly, the Captain tries his best to get you on the fish"
"4 of us just got off the boat. It was a beautiful day. The staff- mates and all were helpful and knowledgeable. The boat was clean and plenty of gear to keep us fishing all morning past noon. It was exactly what we wanted on a Wednesday fishing trip in Brooklyn."
"It was a dirty dirty boat to start off. They said they had ice but we never receive it. Then we also got our fish taken away and was cleaned badly and was charged $25 dollars for it. Adult we're $80 and kids $40. This was a rip off. The way they cleaned it was very very terrible!! They leave you with nothing!"
"We had a great time on the boat today! The workers were super friendly and willing to help with any issues (snagged line, tangled, unhooking fish, etc). Almost everyone in our party of 8 caught a fish, and some even reeled in 2 or 3 or 4. Expect fluke, sea bass and sea robins on the morning excursion. Beautiful views out on the water! My only complaints would be 1) there is no way to wash your hands on the boat and 2) they didn’t explain how to use the rods so there’s a bit of a learning curve. Overall though, fantastic experience! We had a blast and would definitely go again."
"I went on the night fishing trip with a group of six from 6 PM to 11 PM on the boat it took about 1 hour 15 minutes to reach the fishing spot. There were a lot of big waves on the way there causing the boat to rock a lot and many people did get sick. Now I know that is out of the control of the captain, but the reason I would not recommend this fishing charter is because for one the first mate was not very helpful and was very rude. My brother’s fishing line got snagged and it took about a good 30 minutes for the first mate to come and actually help him fix his line. Another time, one of us lost our weight for the rod and yet again, had to wait for the first mate to come around and charge us for a new weight and fix it on to our rod. I could tell at this point he was trying to avoid our group at all costs. Finally, we ran out of the so little bait they gave us (see picture) and it took so long to try to find the first mate yet again. When we did find him he rudely responded that the bait was in the cooler, meanwhile, almost every person on the boat had a cooler so it was very hard still to find the bait. For what was supposed to be a 5 hour fishing trip, we only fished for an hour. It took 3 hours total to get to the spot and get back to the dock and another hour to actually find the first mate to help us get bait or any other issue we had. I was pretty disappointed having to pay a lot of money for only an hour of fishing. I would hope that the charter invests in more first mates that have a lot more patience to help. The captain himself was a great guy, I would just like to see more help from the first mate."
