"Such a lovely setting. The tour includes the homestead, barn & heritage garden. Sits high on a hill with views of the Hudson River. Truly a hidden gem of the Hudson Valley. My Garden Club did some plantings on the estate and in exchange, they allowed us to picnic on their grounds."
"We were married at Mount Gulian over Labor Day weekend 2022 and had about 100 guests and a live band. We booked it in October 2021. Between then and the wedding, the docent changed. We were nervous the transition would impact our wedding, but it was very smooth. Overall, we had a magical experience. The venue is quite rustic and DIY, but very well loved and cared for. We had the ceremony and reception there. It fit our vibe and style very well. It was a lot of work to put the wedding together since we had to find vendors for all sorts of things we hadn’t originally thought about, like a dumpster, water, ice, and bathrooms. Mount Gulian provided a preferred vendor list that was really helpful and many of our vendors were familiar with the site, which helped the wedding day go smoothly. In addition to its historical significance, we loved that there is only one wedding per weekend, so we could decorate the day before and I decorate the day after. We are so excited this is a place we can return to visit throughout the years and that we are now part of Mount Gulian’s history!"
"Brittany was an awesome tour guide at this beautiful home/museum with lots of history and lore. It's got a magnificent view of the Hudson River!"
"We have planned and designed a few weddings here and love the ability to completely customize the venue. The views are spectacular and gorgeous for any wedding ceremony."
