The food was delicious and the service was great. I would definitely recommend you visit this restaurant if you have the chance."

"This is a local place with lots of options and nostalgia in Spartanburg. The barbeque and burgers are good and you get so many fries and onion rings it is hard to eat them all. Give it a try if you are in the area. Oh, don't forget the dairy bar on the way out."

"The Beacon is a staple of Spartanburg/Sparkle City. I made a specific detour with my friend just to dine here again after many years. Although their famous greeter passed away, the whole of the place remains unchanged. For 8.99 I got fried steak, two eggs sunny side up, and more hash browns than I could finish. This is a great place, and historic, too! Built in '49, you can almost visualize the expansions. Well worth it for the food and a snapshot of Southern culture."
