"We stayed at the sandpiper cottage. Very comfortable with all the amenities, including bikes and a new gas grill. It was perfect for our getaway vacation. Conveniently located closer to the entrance. We enjoyed our trip and plan on returning next year."

"Fripp Island is so perfect for a quite time away from the hustle of life! You park and then use golf carts to get around the island to go to the beach, one of the three pools, the nature fever to see some of the island animals or just to see the deer grazing and beautiful sights on the island."

"This was our second visit to Fripp Island, and we found it to be just as great to visit as the first time. This visit was after the season rush, so it was a great time to relax and enjoy the water and beach."

"The island, beaches, and wildlife are beautiful. The rental company and resort leave much more to be desired. The house we rented was not clean with empty beer cans and trash our kids found. There was also bleach soft scrub within their reach. One of the bed mattresses was so old and broken, no one was able to sleep in it. The second floor deck didn’t have safety rails for kids or pets. The dryer never worked for our stay. The management company was not very responsive and poor communicating leaving us to hound them to get answers. Overall we got a lot of ‘that’s not my problem’ answers on the phone with our issues and very little assistance. The customer service and management seems to be a real problem in this beautiful island."

"I have been vacationing here for 15 years. I have visited many beaches but none quite match the tranquility and natural setting of this one. Most complaints seem to be directed at staff who are managed by multiple different island companies and usually not the Fripp Resort, and at specific houses and condos. Fripp has no control over many of these privately owned houses and condos so complaining in your review of the island does nothing. If you do your research and look at rental reviews you will almost always have an incredible experience."
