"What an enjoyable, hassle free experience! Cornelius Sanders was our sales person... He was very pleasant and professional. We received more than what we thought for our trade in. The manager Dan Warren was also amazing! We buy 3 new vehicles every year or two... we will be purchasing all our vehicles from Starling Chevy !"
"If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle Starling Chevrolet in Mt. Pleasant SC is the place to go. Cornelius Sanders was my salesperson he was Fantastic with no pressure & answered all my questions like a professional person, this was one of the best experiences I had buying a new vehicle. Cornelius worked with me on the price until I was happy with it. All the employees I met that day made me feel comfortable & that they cared. Thank you Starling Chevrolet Team for my new 2024 Blazer & a smooth process, I highly recommend !!"
"First of all, Wayne is really great to work with. He’s pleasant and kind, so my review is not a reflection him. Instead it’s a reflection of the mechanics unsatisfactory work. While in town visiting from Charlotte, the headlights on the driver side of my Ford Fusion went out. Rather than risk getting a ticket, or worse into a wreck, I stopped by Stallings Chevrolet to get the bulbs replaced. Nearly 7 hours later I get a message that my car is ready. When i picked up my car and began driving home to Charlotte later in the night, he couldn’t see well. The lights were pointed more towards the ground rather than out in front of the car allowing me to see. From my point of view as the driver is like driving at night with nothing by the fog lights on. So I turned around, used my Hilton points to stay another night and took my car back into Stallings today where I was told they would adjust the lights. I’m home in Charlotte now where it’s dark and I went out to see how my lights look now when driving on dark roads. They still suck. I don’t see the adjustment whatsoever as the lights on the driver side neither go out as wide or as far as those on the passenger side. $116 for this and now I have to go back to my local ford dealership here to get them properly fixed and sadly they charge $309 due to removing the front bumper to then get to the headlight. I’m now going to be out $416. That’s a damn car payment! I’m very unhappy with this dealership. The first photo below is after they first replaced my driver side headlight. The second photo is after the adjustment. I drew green lines to show how poor the new headlights are compared to the original passenger lights. Update: I called per the request below to no avail. Going on 3 hours later and there is still no follow up from the manager, Michael. So, I would urge people to not go here for service because when they make an error they do not care to correctly make it right. Update #2: Only after reading my review update did Michael, the service manager, call me. He is the sleezy stereotype of a high school jock turned car dealership salesman. He spoke down to me, explaining to me that this is a Chevrolet dealership and I have a ford so they don’t know how to work on my car being that it’s a different brand. It’s a Ford, not a German made car. He proceeded to tell me what a leveler tool is (I have a background and bachelors degree in interior architecture so I work with these everyday, but even a child would know what this tool is) saying that this is what they used to level and adjust my light bulbs. He then went into a tirade about how new lightbulbs do not require leveling like those on my “old car”. He then told me to go to a ford dealership and have them determine the issue (a $300 charge which he should’ve known since I made that very clear when I initially dropped my car off with Wayne Goss) and that if they find that the adjustment they, Stallings Chevrolet, made was an issue then he would refund me because he’s a “good guy like that”. I cursed at him and the truth is, he really is an asshat. I have no remorse for my choice of words because he spoke down to me the moment he called me. Respect is earned, not given. I frequent Charleston often and I will never do business with this company again, though my next car will be a German brand and never a Chevrolet. I urge others to use caution if you decide to take your car into be serviced. Do not let them belittle you and do not leave without checking the quality of their workmanship if you can."
"Justin, Adam and team made my purchase a pleasure. I came in to buy my wife a new Tahoe and left with a new truck also. When we wasn’t happy with the Tahoe we purchased Adam got us another one and we traded it in with no questions. They just wanted to make sure we was completely happy with our purchases. My wife and I are completely happy now and will definitely purchase from them again in the future. I highly recommend them for all your vehicle needs."
"I worked with John and had an excellent experience. Ask for him if you are looking for a vehicle. He maintained a professional transparent interaction and helped me in getting the vehicle I needed. I would highly recommend working with him. I felt comfortable in the location and wasn’t pressured by any typical “sales tactics”. We also worked with Adam the manager who made the car buying experience fun and exciting. Rich in finance was extremely thorough with explaining the contracts, financing, and leaving nothing out. Again, I highly recommend this Starling Chevrolet as it was a no pressure environment, everyone was candid and transparent, and they worked to get me what I wanted. And Ella in the Service department is great! She always gets me in, responds quickly, and is extremely helpful. Mike in service is awesome. Drove me home when my vehicle needed service and even picked me back up from my house to get it. A true professional."
