Hilton Head Airport (HHH) Parking

"Great airport to fly out of or into. Zero complaints. It is expanding to allow more room for the large planes to land and turn around. It also now has a place for sandwiches where in the past there were no options."

"This review is for the rental car parking. There is single, tiny lot for all the rental car companies. When we arrived, there was NO PLACE to park, not one slot, and people had parked in the aisles - making maneuvering a bit challenging. We waited until someone backed out and took that spot. There was NO ONE on duty to turn the keys in to or get a receipt. After arriving home, I got a letter from the rental car company DEMANDING that I return the car immediately! It was NOT a polite letter. Luckily, I had the receipt from filling the car up on the way to the airport, my boarding pass, and the receipt for parking at my home airport. I sent those items in and in about 10 days received a receipt for the car. No apology though, and no "Thank You.""

"No bar or restaurant. Enjoy eating out of coin operated machines. Be prepared to be searched as if your name was Mohammed from Iran. Only saving grace was we only had to stay there for 25 minutes before our flight..."

"This is probably the first and it may be the only parking lot that I'll rate five stars. It's shaded but well lighted so I have never had and security concerns. In addition, the prepay feature and lack of gates make it very convenient. Recently when I had a question, they returned my call promptly."
