"Called to find my mail since the truck hadn’t been here in almost a week. Waiting on medication for my sick grandmother and was told when I called that if I have mail it will be delivered and there hasn’t been. The women on the phone named Joyce was very rude and unhelpful. The mail is tracked and at the post office yet I’m told I don’t even have a shopper let alone her medication. They are constantly late, don’t arrive, throw packages in the rain or ground, and have zero customer service skills. I hope hanging up on me and holding her package, was worth the call to the BB and to bring there attention to how upset the community is with a simple service provided to them."
"ive been at the same address for 3yrs. Something new this year they dont deliver to my mailbox if theres alot of snow. Never had a prob for 3yrs now all of a sudden theres a problem. Stupid!!!! Called to see what was going on and was treated rudely swore at and hung up on."
"I have lived in the same apt for over 4 years. It is a large 2 story house. Apt 1 is downstairs and currently vacant. It has not been plowed or shoveled out. The porches are covered in about a foot of snow and debris from the land lord remodeling . Apt 2 (me) driveway mostly cleared and shoveled. Back entrance has a 2 on the door and has an enclosed stairwell. The mail person dumped my packages in the snow on the outside porch of the vacant apt. I ran out when she blew her horn and was saying I'm here that's the wrong apt. She dumped my packages in the snow got in her jeep and sped off. Not sure how many packages I was supposed to get and if I got them all from the snow. Can't call post office as the office is closed today. Not a happy camper at the moment. Not the 1st time this has happened."
"Terrible customer service! Now they are closing between 1015 and 1115 everyday??? I was waiting on my pills to be sent from the VA (they had to mail them, they weren't in stock). I got permission to leave work to check my mail (I work during their normal operating hours) and I received the little note in my box saying I had a package for pickup. Hoping it was my medicine, I go to the office to pick it up, but the sign just said they returned at 11:15. There is nothing saying that was an everyday thing, I figured they were dealing with an issue out back. Stopped again the next day earlier than the day before, but it was 10:20 and they had just closed for their hour-long break. Finally get them the next day, everybody standing there waiting for the door to open, I wait in line about 20 minutes while the girl at the counter is shooting the breeze with the guy in front of me who used to be a former employee there. Now I'm really running late to get back to work, finally get the package, Its a phone book. Not my meds. The phone books they give everybody that no one with internet on their phones use anymore. Best part is by the third day, my boss (who is actually very understanding) couldn't justify the time off 3 days in a row to his bosses, so I had to take an hour of vacation time the third day. Contacted the VA and they said they should have been at that post office by Tuesday-the second day of this ridiculous escapade. So why, why were they not available even on the third day???"
"I have tried very hard to be understanding with this post office. Because I to work and understand that customers can be jerks. But they just don't care. In the year that I've lived at this address, I have received more late packages than I can count. They have destroyed 2 packages recently by leaving them unprotected in the rain. I live in a densely populated area in this small town. I asked the post master if they could hold all of my future packages at the post so I didn't have to worry about the rain getting them wet or neighbor kids taking off with them. She told me that they could and we filled out the proper paperwork. The following days, packages kept showing up so I figured that maybe they needed to start a new week or month or whatever...So I gave it time. My packages kept showing up. I contacted the post office, they assured me that the packages would be held there again. AGAIN, packages started showing up. I left signs on my porch for them to stop leaving packages when nobody was home, packages keep coming. I try to schedule my packages for delivery on specific days, so I'm home and the packages are late. There have been a handful of times that I didn't receive my packages AT ALL. (Amazon has re-shipped packages at their cost because of this) This post office is making it impossible to run my own business if I have to stay at home waiting for my late packages... No wonder successful businesses chose reliable mail carriers like UPS and FedEx. USPS is a joke and needs to be shut down."
