"Not a good experience. Guide yelled at us when we did something wrong. He also decided to cut the trip short. We only fished for 5 hours when it was supposed to be a 7 hours trip. WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN."

"When we met Shane he was a bit terse but we went along anyway. It was a group of 3 of us, all novice fishermen, and as the day went on he started to get noticeably annoyed and impatient with us. He made sure we caught fish by chumming the water, hooking up himself and then passing us the rod but then proceed to berate my friend, cuss, throw things on the boat, rant over losing his spot. Eventually, all 3 of us were a target for his displaced anger. The tension was real, and it wasn't the best experience to say the least. If you're new to the sport and just want to try it out and get some lessons in before going at it alone, I'd stay away from this guy and his other guides. Maybe if you already have some intermediate knowledge of fishing these waters, you may have a better experience."

"Four of us booked a float trip and cabin with Shane mid-week in mid-March. The cabin was well appointed and ready when we arrived Sunday afternoon; coffee pot, microwave, "dorm" refrigerator, wi-fi, cable tv, four comfortable beds and a gas grill outside. This was plenty adequate for four old farts. Monday morning Shane's son and another young guide were ready and brought us down the river. The trip was great, everybody caught steelhead except me, but in my own defense I was trying centerpin fishing for the first time and missed on my takedowns. The guides were very good and very knowledgeable on where and how to fish each stretch of river. They desperately wanted us to catch fish; exactly what you want in a guide. I had brought up my 19' boat to take out on the lake the following day, there was adequate room to keep it tucked away on the property. I guess the best thing I can say is that yes, next year us four old farts will be back up with Shane and company for the third time, and I will probably be getting frustrated pin fishing again (I'm going to catch a fish that way...). It was a great trip!"

"Gave two stars because we caught a nice salmon, the experience was not a good one. I set up the trip two months ahead of the date and was planning on two people but was told for the price it included up to four people, so we ended up with three people, was told that we would need to be there early in the morning which we planed on doing, the day before was texted that we were going to night fish (not what was planned seemed when they found out we did not need a room we were pushed back). When the guide showed up he had a very bad attitude and was not very professional (Bryan Granjean) he told us he was tired had been out with another group all morning, it was beautiful seeing all the fish jump but not many hitting which is just the luck of fishing, but he spent 75% of the time on the phone talking to his girlfriend and other people talking ship about our group and what we were doing wrong, it was the frist we had ever booked a guide and were overall very disappointed with the service. I would not recommend this group to anyone looking for fun fishing trip."

"Shane, Tiny, and Shane's cabin all delivered. Wife and daughter had their best fishing trip yet. Cabin was comfortable and clean. Most importantly Shane put us on the fish, big time. Thanks again for the experience!"
