"This has to be the most incompetent property management company or business in general that I have ever worked with. They never respond to emails and rarely answer the phone. I've emailed Courtney Wilson twice since January 31st to get a copy of the lease for my property and still no response. I finally got Michael on the phone yesterday and it turns out they don't even have a signed lease for my property that is already occupied by the tenant because "the tenant forgot to sign it". I'm sitting here again today trying to reach someone to get a copy of my lease that they promised would be sent yesterday. Any investor needs to rethink working with these people. If I seen a resume with past job history with this company it would immediately go in the trash knowing they are the least effective employees you will ever encounter. If you need property management services in the Augusta area I would highly recommend Augusta Rental Homes, unless you enjoy being constantly lied to and let down by Auben."

"Auben is the worst property management company I have ever worked with. When tenants left with a weeks notice ( even with military orders they know more than a week ahead of time), the property management company did not assess the tenant with damages found until I questioned and pushed for tenant accountability. After I fired them, I learned they did not fix the items they said they fixed and charged me for - such as cleaning and repair of the dishwasher. Additionally, the property manager assigned to my property changed 3 times in the span of a few months. I had to reach out to understand the status and escalate to management to understand what was being done to repair the property, advertise and relist the property. Communications with me was non-existent unless I reached out and the property managers were very difficult to reach and would only respond in email. The property was vacant for over 3 months even though the rent was set at the recommended level by the property manager. I would NOT recommend you use this company - it is a hugely frustrating experience and they do manage the property - just collect fees."

"The office staff is so kind, I am never greeted without a smile when I go in to pay rent. The maintenance staff is awesome as well, they are so nice and helpful. I just renewed my second year lease with the house I am renting. I am beyond happy with Auben!"

"The only positive thing I can say about my stay under an apartment complex through Auben Realty is my experience with the new maintenance coordinator, Mr. Flores. Otherwise, I cannot wait until my lease is up, I will never do business with Auben Realty again. And I will let people know it is not a good idea to do business with the Augusta office. They do not answer the phone, so I have to try and make time to go to the office to get any of my concerns fixed. I have to constantly follow up, because even though they say they will, they never do! It’s exhausting dealing with the property managers. They never respond even if you email, call, leave voicemails, etc. They change new managers every couple months, and never follow up with any issues. Even though I pay for pest control monthly, one of the managers suggested to me I should look for outside sources and pay out of pocket to fix problems that they should! They do not care about their residents, or their health. I pay almost a thousand dollars a month for my apartment and I hate coming home. I would break my lease, but I have a whole store to run myself and do not have the time. Save yourself the time and DO NOT DO business with the Augusta office because it is a waste of money. The managers give you attitude and excuses when it comes to dealing with any concerns."

"It’s so funny that I found this house under this realty company. It was just on the Vinebrook homes a few months ago and before that until February 2022, it belong to Prager property management in which we’re the worst to rent from. I first rented this house 5 1/2 years ago through prager property management. Never was late on my rent not even for one day the whole 5 1/2. Last year around February 2022 I received an email that they were looking into fixing my garage which would not lift up from December 26, 2021. Next thing I know at the end of February I get an email VineBrook Home’s introducing themselves. Let’s say I got my garage fixed in March 2022. It was a crazy situation because my car was locked in the garage. Had to find someone to try and lift the old wooden door garage. It was crazy. After going through things, not getting fixed with Prager property management to go into with Vinebrook homes. I kept asking about a lease all the way to June 2022. Of course, they started out OK fixing things that have been needing to be fixed prior to them taking over not a problem at first. I have so many pictures over the years on the things that I did to this house, even though it wasn’t mine, but to make it my home. I had a lot of things done in that house and outside in the backyard as far as tree trim in the front yard because the trees were hanging over the driveway leveled out the backyard a little bit so that my granddaughter could have a pool in the back. They did not know what they were doing with the fence. The home is infested with termites. Finally had someone to come over to kind of slow down the process and they re-plastered the wall in the garage. There are so many things going on in this house that I did not complain about the pipes will soon be going out and if they have to replace those pipes, they will have to cut the floor open. The roof is terrible it’s sinking in, my father had to cut through the tile in the bathroom to fix a leak that has been going on for awhile, we built a mantle to fit my 80 inch Tv in the living room, Atlanta gas has fully warnethem that they need to fix the old furnace in the house. It has caused major damage inside of the attic. I say all of this because VineBrook Home’s did me so dirty in March of this year they stated that they emailed me a 60 day notice to move out well if your life is probably like mine I stay very busy. With that being said, I didn’t know anything about an email, and even when I went back through, I never received it. We come back from vacation in May 2 days later I received an email talking about putting a lock box on my door so when the young man came over there, I told him he was not putting anything on the door until I found out what was going on. Once I called their customer service as usual you never get to talk to anybody ever and they told me that they had sent me a non-renewal letter so they forwarded me the email that they claimed to have sent me. And when I say it was the most devastating thing for someone to tell you, you have to leave and be done and off the premises within three weeks. I have heard the horrible stories in reference to this with a lot of people, but I never thought it would happen to me. Of course they didn’t even check to see if I wanted to buy the home as long as I live there. Didn’t even know I had lived there for 5 1/2 years. Time goes on stressed to the max don’t have family here it was a lot, but I think God for keeping me! These people do not care about anyone and don’t know what situation someone may be in. I would’ve been homeless, but when I finally spoke to a manager, they didn’t know how it happened until I explain to them, and they were willing to work with me at that point until my place was ready. I turned this house into a home, new countertops, new appliances, repainted kitchen & patio door. Tried to take my deposit. I asked the young lady did she have a copy of my previous move-in sheet or lease and she said no! Let’s say I got all of my deposit back and now in process buying a house. It was Gods plan."
