"I bought my first driver, club set and putter from the “golf galaxy” for an awesome price and a huge selection in 2006. I visited this location and it’s not the golf galaxy I expected. They was nothing close to the selection on used clubs and the prices on what they did have were awful. Ended up buying a used driver online instead and won’t be returning."

"Unfortunately, I had the same experience as a few other people. I called the store before I left my house to see if they can re-grip a set of clubs while I waited. The representative on the phone said no problem. When I got to the store, I picked out a set of grips and the manager said they cannot do it for at least 24 hours because they were busy, while I was one of only two people in the store. I wasted my time and they lost the sale because I walked out. poor customer service I won’t be shopping here again. I’m taking my business to a local golf shop."

"Poor service. 5-6 sim bays open only one being used and GG would not allow us to use simulator to test a driver. They placed us in a bay to test driver without sim. After we decided we think we liked the driver we asked to use a bay to see ball flight. We were denied the use for 5 or 10 minutes to make final decision to buy a club. They told us we needed to reserve a bay in advance. All bays were wide open. We were still denied use or offered usage of a bay. Golf Galaxy lost out on a $550 + sale today. Putting field also has zero balls for testing putters. Customers must ask for a ball to test a putter. Worst Golf Galaxy on Long Island. The personnel has zero enthusiasm to sell a golf club."

"Recently in the market for a new set of irons. Made the rounds to various retail stores. My experience at Golf Galaxy was excellent. Staff was very knowledgeable on custom shaft options and they gave me access to the hitting bay and then trackman when I wanted to dial in the specs. No hard sell and the value offered on my trade ins was very fair. The staff were 5 stars. The reason for the 4 in the review is due to them not having all the latest models on display."
