"Placed an order online , they went to fill the order and didn’t have one of my items , instead of calling for a same price replacement they just charged me the same price and then said once the transactions goes through I’d get refunded for the rest( which refunds can take up to 7 days at times to even be processed ). I called to ask if I can get a replacement seeing as I need the item that’s missing it’s sort of part of everything I bought to make a craft for my mom for Valentine’s Day . I was told no I had to buy a replacement separate and they aren’t allowed to call to ask if you want a replacement that once the order is filled they can’t do anything , I personally think this is ridiculous it’s not hard to replace an item at same price if need be , this kind of thing makes me not even wanna order online for Micheal’s anymore . Now I have to pay extra to replace the item and wait for a refund which is messed up because what if I didn’t have the funds to replace it ? The lack of trying to make the customer happy by trying to fulfill the entire order even if a replacement is needed is extremely disappointing. And the whole comment of “we aren’t allowed to call the customer to ask if they want a replacement for an item” is poor customer service in my opinion . Shame on you Micheal’s because that should be something you do , unless there are no replacements in which you should still call and let the customer know. Not email them with your choice of resolve which doesn’t help anyone. The person I spoke to was nice but now it all falls on me to find a replacement and pay extra to complete my order. Thanks a lot ."

"went to buy pictureframes, there were many signs saying “buy one get one free — select styles” etc. so i made sure to pick out frames that were part of the sale. walked up to checkout with 6 frames and the discount didn’t come off. i asked why and she said the sale didn’t start for four days. i have no idea why they would put sale signs out 4 days early"

"This Michaels in Seasons Mall adjacent to Styretown Mall, which replaced the old A C Moore, is definitely one of the more disappointing stores in this chain. While the merchandise is quite good quality, it always happens that in the cases of things I need, they always seem to be either out of stock or understocked with a few conspicuous bare spots on the shelves. It's really a shame too. The service people are always polite and courteous."

"Selection seemed a little sparse as compared to other michaels I've been to - especially disappointed there weren't any Toho beads, and the shelves had a lot of empty spaces. Loads of parking, and the staff was all masked."

"I am happy they put this Michael’s Arts & Crafts in Styertown even though there was one already in Clifton on Route 3. That parking lot for the one onRt 3 is a nightmare. Since I seem to come here so often, it is easier to run in and get what I need. Staff is great. As of 10/28/21 they are still hiring but I have always been able to find help when needed. Halloween things are down and the Christmas decorations are already going up. 11/22/21: Back at one of my favorite stores today. They keep getting more and more stock and a variety of items as well. I was able to pick up a couple of Halloween decorations at a huge discount for next year. I also picked up something’s for Christmas. Many of the Christmas items were on sale. Please note, it is highly worth it to join their Rewards Program if you plan on shopping there. You get money back to use on a future visit every time you buy something. They often have coupons on their website. They also give discounts to Teachers 15%, Military 15% and Seniors starting at age 55 10%."
