"The fountain was stunning, intricate so many small details and elegant designs. Bigger than I expected. It’s a very popular place for everyone to hang out in I recommend seeing it in the day but also at night. There’s less people and you can appreciate the fountain more closely without the commotion."
"I found the Forsyth fountain when researching things to do on Trip Advisor. After I got there, I loved all of the details that went into the architecture. In addition, you’ll see Spanish moss trees close to the fountain. If you’re decent with taking photos, you can snap some very beautiful pictures. The park itself is huge. You’ll find many activities held here like a farmer’s market, weddings, engagement photos, etc. A must see if you decide to visit."
"If you appreciate art, people watching & and nature, this is a magnificent place to experience. There is always a handful of creative artists near the fountain. One of my favorite artists is Pearl. She does magnificent wire wrapping. Pearl keeps a good selection of pieces. Always different, unique, and one of a kind. I have included pictures of her work. If you are ever in Savannah, it would be well worth the trip to stop by and see her. I met another artists Derek Lawson. I fell in love with his artwork & purchased a piece to bring home. Benjamin makes flowers, crosses & other designs out of palm fronds. There were plenty of other artists & vendors. Each time I visit, I try to meet new artists and share their work. There is history here, a place to eat, a stunning fountain & two playgrounds for the kids. There is literally Something for everyone!"
"Fountain is beautiful. But alot of homeless folks in park trying to get money. It was sad. Monuments in park has some graffiti. There is tons of people. There are two playgrounds. We were supposed to do a scavenger hunt that evening there but chose against it after seeing it in daylight. Didn't feel like it would of been safe."
"Absolutely beautiful setting. We were there for a wedding and the view was spectacular. The area we were in was closed off to the public for the event. And our view was the postcard. With the old oak canopy over the fountain. It did get loud a few times from cars and motorcycles. But overall it was an amazing place for a wedding."
