Getaway Lake Hartwell Cabins

"Just got back from our first Getaway cabin trip and it was just amazing. Everything about the experience, beginning with the initial order process which was a breeze, to the reminder texts and door codes, to the provided provisions and necessities. The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful. It is truly, very well constructed, solid and sturdy and high quality materials and appliances. Everything worked and functioned well and there were absolutely no issues during our stay. The space inside tha cabin was incredibly clean and tidy and there was a surprising amount of hidden storage space. We enjoyed a campfire, thanks to the trunk/chest of provided campfire supplies! It was an absolute blast to feel like we had our own little tiny piece of nature for a few days. We will definitely be back! Thank you @Getaway House !"

"We had a nice stay at the Getaway cabins on Lake Hartwell. The "cabin" was a tiny home that was fully equipped with a mini kitchen, including all utensils,pots,pans,and even a wine opener. There was a mini fridge and a cook top. They do provide coffee, tea, and a couple of other items but charge $2.00 for them. The bathroom had a shower, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. The bed was king size and was very comfortable. The bed is high and has a stair to get onto the bed. My only criticism is that I couldn't see the stairs in the middle of the night, and I tripped and fell down. Maybe adding a motion light to the stair could prevent this from happening. Our "cabin" wasn't facing the lake. Unfortunately, you can't book a specific "cabin" so you get whichever one is chosen for you. We did have a great time, though, without the distraction of TV and computers. We got to enjoy each other and nature, which was long overdue!! We're also very happy we got to bring our wonderful dog with us too!"

"We have stayed in multiple locations of Getaway cabins and the experience is consistently amazing! The cabin has everything you need and nothing you don't, including what you need for your pet. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The location, private and other guests, quiet which is the main reason we come. Such a great place for a quick weekend reset!"

"We stayed three nights in January, 2023 in the Jerome cabin. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the space is used. The cabin was well equipped and very welcoming. It was easy to find, and we even had full cell service (for those who don't want to or can't completely unplug), which was unexpected. We brought our very large dog, and he had the best time! They even left him a bag of treats, which we thought was a great touch. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We loved the quiet and the campfire. The fridge doesn't hold much, but it was fine because we brought our yeti cooler and used it as a backup fridge and beverage cooler. Even the bluetooth speaker was a nice touch. After we were done sitting by the campfire each night, we went in and listened to music and played games. The service was fantastic. Anytime we texted them, we got an immediate response and they never left us waiting long for extra firewood!.We will definitely be going back!"
