Fripp Island Stay 15 Fiddlers Reach Drive, Fripp Island, SC 29920

"My family (10 people in total) has stayed for a 10-day Thanksgiving vacation at the same property for at least five, maybe six years now at 718 Winter Trout on Fripp Island, and without question it is a perfect spot for our family with plenty of space to hang out, six bedrooms, a fun game area with fooz ball and ping pong, a large functional kitchen, and breath-taking views of the ocean roughly a couple hundred yards away from two levels of the house you will never get tired of, particularly at sunrise and sunset! The management team has been absolutely terrific assisting us with a very special honorable mention and shoutout to staff member Heather Pickens. Heather helped my mother-in-law locate some items holding great personal value that she left behind following our departure, and my mother-in-law honestly can't believe they were still in the house five days after she realized she left them there. She said she thought there was a slim chance they would have been found once she determined they were missing, however if they were still in the house, she knew exactly where they would be. Heather calmed her nerves quickly by dropping everything she was doing, going directly to the house to locate the missing items, and then calling her right away once they were found. My mother-in-law has called it a Christmas miracle. Heather, we will always have tremendous gratitude for your exceptional support during a time when we needed it the most. Thank you so much for another wonderful time at this topnotch property that you will never want to leave once you reach the conclusion of your day. We look forward to returning for Thanksgiving again in 2024!"

"I would not recommend this resort to anyone. My family and I have had terrible problems with mice and fleas. Upon our reporting of the problem to guest services 2-3 different times, nothing was done to rectify the situation until the last day of our stay and that was after getting very upset with them in person. At that point, they offered to move us to another unit but only for our last night. It was as if we were supposed to just be okay with having spent the whole week in filth of mice getting in our food and fleas infesting everything and biting us. This type of service is completely unacceptable because now we have fleas in all of our things to try and get rid of when we get home."
