"From the far parking lot, stroll along the pathway that flows naturally through the lawns green and soft, beneath the trees. Across a well kept stone bride, you see the map of the park area and the clubhouse with playground. Turn towards the playground next to the clubhouse, there's a the biggest oak tree that shades the stairs. It's so inviting and makes me think of the Lost Boys and climbing up to find Peter Pan! The playground is amazing and there truly is a space for every kid to be together. It's so well built and maintained. It's got a gate that helps keep kids contained, although the swings are a little high on the big kid side, they are still manageable. Definitely better than the lookalike in Greer, Kid's Planet (Century Kids Park).. my daughter I really enjoyed playing here, despite the cold!"

"This is a fantastic park in the center of Spartanburg. It was right on the outskirts of downtown and very close to some really great food and restaurant establishments. There are plenty of walking trails and a large playground for children. I had seen at least two bathrooms in various parts of the park and the pond area with the ducks and geese are very relaxing to sit by in a bench or one of the swings."

"Wow! What a beautiful hidden gem in Spartanburg! A great place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is a small pond with water fountains and lots of ducks, geese and turtles. There is a beautiful large gazebo that sits in the middle of the pond, you need to cross the cute bridge to get to it. A nice small trail to walk around the pond and swings and benches to sit and relax. There is a huge playground for the kids and another smaller gazebo where you can set up for a party. Also in the park overlooking the pond is the John B. Cleveland Event Center, it's a beautiful building that hosts numerous community programs and events, you can also rent it out for large parties. Parking is free. It's such a beautiful park, I highly recommend checking it out!"

"Beautiful park, great park for a jog, run or walk, the playground is big foe kiddos. The lake has ducks. it's very pretty, kept clean, tons of places to have a picnic, very nicely shaded, plenty of parking, quiet place to also relax. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this park for a kids playdate"
