"A very nice although short (0.4 mile) trail going through a dense forest along a bubbling brook. Many interesting plants grow around, with interpretive signage here and there. It’s a loop trail following the brook on both sides. Lots of shade even in the middle of the day because of tall old trees. After completing it, one may continue on the Eagle Trail that starts nearby and leads to Cleveland Park near the Zoo. Eagle Trail provides a nice leisurely walk through the woods above the Cleveland Park. It starts above the tennis courts and goes to the south end of the park (where Lakehurst St. meets Fernwood Way). The trail is narrow and not paved, but the surface is quite smooth. Lots of shade, birds and squirrels abound, various trees and plants to admire. About half a mile long."

"This is a beautiful trail BUT it is COVERED in poison ivy!! I was about 3 minutes in and I looked down and I was surrounded by poison ivy vines. Be very very careful running or biking here!!"
