"A restaurant overlooking a small airport, with a park next door and amazing food and service – we love this place so much! We eat here almost every week with our son and then go to the park. The food is much better than I expected – we're from Chicago and have been thrilled to find our new go-to place for time with our son that is both kid-friendly and delicious. The service (especially Debbie) is welcoming and kind, even when they're busy and even with the occasional rude or entitled customer."
"My wife and I have been there many times over the years. The new look is great but the food and atmosphere is completely geared toward families with kids. Honestly, they would do better selling pizza and hotdogs. The current menu is over priced and really not that great. It was cold and loud. Not recommended for people that enjoy a warm quiet place to enjoy a meal."
"My husband and I ate at the Runway Café for the first time yesterday and loved it. The food was fast, fresh and delicious. All the employees were smiling, friendly and overall delightful. Debbie was amazing, she kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. It was so nice sitting outside in the sunshine watching the planes take off and land as we ate lunch. There's a huge playground next to it which had several families playing, it was nice to see that. We highly recommend this place to eat, we gladly support independent small businesses in the area. We will definitely be back! P.S. Try the homemade chocolate chip cookies - so yummy!"
"I am extremely disappointed. I met my friend with her four kids and my one kid. When ordering I was going to get myself and my kid a meal. That was until the cashier accused me of not wanting to pay a 20% tip (“oh okay so you’re just trying to get away without tipping. Oh I see …what do you want?”) because we were sitting at the same table. When I said that was not the case at all and I’ll pay for the tip for all of us she quickly got defensive. So at this point my son had to eat so I ordered a kids corn dog meal for $6.50 and gave an $8.00 tip. She kept asking if I wanted to eat I said no and clearly understood why. For this place to literally be in a park for kids they are not kid friendly. The park itself is awesome! Would never recommend the cafe."
