"leaving this review because the fellow working has been pretty arrogant the last two times that i have been in here. prices for parts and tires are astronomical. asked about a certain tire size for a vintage road bike and was told "that tire size is obsolete, we would never order those." asked about front bicycle racks and was told "we never order those, nobody has asked for one of those in years." bought one tube and was asked "why aren't you buying two?" asked a general question about running a different thickness tire size on a rim and dude went on a rant about how i don't know anything about tires. and after all of that, asked why i wasn't bringing my bike in for the tube to be changed, told him i could manage that on my own and that i work on my own bikes. then he asked if i was looking for a job! shop is convenient in location to where i work, but never again stepping in here."

"Went in to inquire about a new bike earlier in the week. Having being new to riding, the woman at the front counter was very helpful in asking me what kind of biking experience I was aiming for and then pointing me in the right direction. Super Professional and the interaction brightened my day. Cant wait to come in and officially buy one after the holidays!"

"DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE! This place is a joke, I like to have my bike in top performance and this place just cannot deliver that. 1 star rating because, -changed items and charged me before I could decline service -did not repair initial reason for visit -mix matched tubes because of convenience on their part. I am more than capable of repairing my bike and for the first time in 15 years I bring my bike in and expect high class work from a place in a wealthy neighborhood and apparently they must be knocking people over the head that have no experience because I have no idea how a business could stay alive like this one. Conclusion, Before leaving with your bike do a thorough inspection and make sure ALL PARTS are functioning as they did before bringing it in. DO NOT TRUST THEM! just another number, or go in with your lawyer, maybe they will take your more serious."

So happy with the education that got regarding that bicycle, which I still ride today, but the service, price and professionalism was even more impressive. Recently, when all of NY wanted to purchase a bike (Covid 19), I needed to get one for my wife and a new one for my son. After my experience prior, I knew where I needed to go. Andrew and the staff at Brickwell not only found us amazing rides, but were spectacular during the process. I would recommend time and time again. You guys rock!"
