"The manager Bree and all her staff were so good to me! Super patient and thorough and made the process it returning and purchasing my new wedding band! I am forever grateful for them and their hardwork!"
"My husband and I went to Kay’s today to purchase a necklace. The store was extremely busy but I was greated fairly quickly and was told to give them a moment and someone would help me. We were looking around and someone else asked if we needed help, we said yes we wanted our rings cleaned while we browsed for new jewelry she took our rings and started cleaning them. About 15-20 minutes later a different girl brought our jewelry over and opened the little case they put the jewelry in and I made a joke “those aren’t ours” she immediately closed the case and said oh my! I told her I was just kidding and we laughed together. She said today was her second day on the floor. My husband spoke up and said “why are her rings apart?” My wedding rings were soldered together and now they are apart. I told the new worker not to worry I have warranty so it’s not a big deal. She brought me to a different worker. I said my rings were not like this when I came in, he asked me “are you sure” I said yes I’m sure. I said they’ve been soldered together since I’ve been married two years ago. I said if you don’t believe me, take my information and look at my account. He’s looking at my ring and he’s like “yeah I see they were soldered together.” He’s like this happens from wear and tear. I said MY RINGS WERE FINE BEFORE THEY WERE CLEANED! It was not loose, not missing stones, that’s wear and tear, two rings don’t just come a part from wear and tear. I said you know what? Can I have my rings please? He gave me my rings and I started to walk away and he responded with “have a nice day” not being genuine but being very sarcastic, as if my wedding ring being broken is a joke. I turned around and asked to speak to the manager. Breanne was the manager. I was trying to explain the situation and she cuts me off mid sentence. I asked her to let me finish and she made a face and said okay. I explained the situation and she responded with “this is from wear and tear” I said I don’t want to hear that my ring was in amazing condition before I took it off to get cleaned. I said what can you do for me, she’s like “what do you want me to do for you” I said I want you to fix my ring that was broken in the hands of one of your employees! She’s continuing on with wear and tear, I asked for my ring back at this point knowing I do not trust leaving my rings with anyone in the store and to go to store I normally go to. I walk away and what did she say, to be sarcastic and instigate the situation “have a nice day!” At this point I’ve had enough of the nonchalance of my ring being broke, the sarcasm in the “have a nice day” not one apology was said, NOT ONE. Things were said that wasn’t called for but instigating a heated situation and not taking any accountability as a manager is appalling. No matter how they put it my ring was broke in their hands, no matter if I had warranty or not, an apology for the inconvenience would’ve diffused the situation 100% and not point blame to wear and tear. I would never go back to this kays and I would advise nobody else to either because when things get broken they don’t take accountability. I’ve been a customer at Kay Jewelers for over five years I’ve been to this location twice and both times I’ve had horrible experiences. It’s my fault for going back. Go to the one on balltown road instead. I give it one star because I was greeted quickly even though they were extremely busy."
"I went to this store on Oct. 14th to get my jewelry inspected. The person who helped me greeted me by loudly announcing I can't just walk in with 17 pieces of jewelry without an appointment because it's the holidays. 2 necklaces were tangled and one broke, I was told to take it to another store with a ring they never saw and said was inspected. With 17 purchases you would think she'd be nicer. Horrible"
"Bree was absolutely wonderful with us. My engagement ring was damaged and could not be repaired which made me sad and she found me a ring almost identical and traded it up and I'm so happy. She needs a raise."
"Chelsea and Renee are the absolute best. Chelsea treats us like her besties every time we walk in for new frosting and was the absolute most wonderful person to work with when my fiancé purchased my engagement ring (he says!) & Renee was SO helpful and diligent in getting us the best deal possible on a Diamond necklace & earrings set. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for jewelry. Don’t lose those girls!!!"
