"The regional farmers market has a line of sheds, each shed identified by a letter of the alphabet. The last shed, the F shed, has walls and heat. Last night, a chamber of commerce organization called CenterState CEO held an event gathering all kinds of vendors under the big roof. I think noise insulation has been added to the ceiling and walls. The last time a hard core, heavy metal band performed at the F Shed, noise complaints from as far away as Baldwinsville shut the band down. I had witnessed many of the vendors at the Farmers Market before today. The two guys who run Old Guys Distillery recognized me, the guy who photographed them at the Erie Canal Museum a year ago. The men had expanded their line, now offering everything from moonshine to bourbon. With all the vendors purveying tastes of wine, beer and cordial, I had to pace myself. So I said, "Hit me with your best shot". One of the owners gave me thimble full of bourbon, quite enough, and he laughed as the flavour took me aback."
"Sort of strange venue. It is literally a large shed, so not exactly the most beautiful place in the world. There is a lot of parking which is great. The bathroom situation was port-a-potty only"
"Fair place to see an indoor, general admission concert. Need more doors open to access outside / porto johns during show. Staff a bit overwhelmed with patron volume."
"Sooo ... how much can you expect for a place that puts on EDM concerts? They made it happen, but [typical of many such shows/events] the staff is [was] downright unfriendly and pushy and unaccomodating and the whole place just seems disorganized with cables/utilities on the ground, a mass of porta johns, no warm [sheltered] place to stand while waiting for your ride home ..."
"The "Platinum Lounge Upgrade" gets you . . . "access to the Platinum Lounge, a special VIP section of the venue that includes . . . private bathrooms & more" (verbatim from a recent TicketFly ticket sale). Definitely pay for this upgrade if you think that "private bathrooms" means two "port-a-potties" situated RIGHT in front of the blasting speakers, so you can go deaf while you wait in line for the dozens (or close to/more than hundred) of other people also needing to use it. You'll end up running outside to use the general bathrooms every single time, even though you paid to avoid those lines and the freezing cold. The "special VIP section" has tables and chairs all over and is right in front of the speakers with horrible sound. The food will be gone halfway through the show. Don't pay for this upgrade, and don't expect the venue or TicketFly to do anything for you when you found out you've been defrauded. I know three people that upgraded and all have open complaints with TicketFly."
