"Stopped into rojan after using the bike trail this fall, I'm very glad we did. A very cool place. Almost had a old school ski lodge feel to it. You go order your food. Go back to your table and go pick it up yourself cafeteria style. Awesome beer and I can't wait to go back and sit outside on the patio and smell the hops that are growing on the lattice."

"Stumbled upon this great brewery after a hike. The food was delicious, craft beer left us wanting more (luckily you can buy some to go), the atmosphere both inside and outside was also amazing. We live over an hour away but we’re already looking at the calendar to plan a return visit. I can’t wait to go back again. I highly recommend a trip to Joe Jan Brewing!"

"Stopped here on a return trip from downstate. Heard good things, just needed an excuse to stop by. Sampled the ESB, the Belgian tripel, and the Oktoberfest, all well above average. Opted for a pint of the Oktoberfest, called Best Fest, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very close to style. Food was good too. Nice, somewhat eclectic selection. Got the Smoky Elote street corn as I'm headed home for dinner. It was very tasty and fairly authentic as well. Place is a nice open space, plus lots of outdoor seating. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. Really nice vibe. Will definitely be back with the wife and some friends to explore Roe Jan's more. Great place."

"Sunday drive with the wife and stopped in for a beer and lunch. They had a country type band playing. We ordered two beers that were very good. Music was too high for my wife and I to have a conversation so we moved upstairs to their covered outside patio. Much better! Enjoyed our beers and had lunch. Wife and I shared a pretzel with beer cheese. It was good - but have had better. She had the nachos and I had the chicken sandwich. We both agreed the food was good… but not awesome. The downstairs and upstairs patio are covered and you can sit inside also. I enjoyed the place just hope they kick it up a notch on their food. Will stop by again to see if we just hit it at a bad time. Must say place was busy and appeared to be kid and dog friendly… which I live as my grandkids and my dog frequently join us. Give it a try and you make your own decision."
