"I had a mobile smartphone that was destroyed/non-functioning and I brought it to the store on 132nd Street (near Liberty Avenue); the technician (a woman) fixed the phone without issue about a year ago. As a returning customer, on a Saturday September 30 I brought my phone to the location (near Lefferts Boulevard and Rockaway Boulevard) to be repaired, regardless of what the cost was, for the extraction of evidence regarding a legal matter but the technician was more interested in telling me how I should spend my money and seemed to not be interested at all in fixing the phone. Why take up a job to do something you don't want to do and then assume you know what the potential customer wants? Unfortunately, many mobile phone repair businesses have fake technicians like these who simply are reluctant to fix the phone because of the level of damage the phone has and are too eager in an attempt to manipulate the customer about what they should do about their dilemma. I experienced a very similar situation, regarding a legal matter requiring legal discovery (evidence) with a smart phone, with a lot of "technicians" across multiple "phone repair" places within the surrounding areas of Richmond Hill, Jamaica, Kew Gardens, Ozone Park, and Forest Hills back in 2015 - 2016. All of these "technicians" were pulling off the same shady, manipulative, and dishonest tactics of trying to talk me into doing something I don't want to do or telling me in a nice way they are really not interested in fixing the phone. Fortunately, I had a co-worker who was a phone technician and took the job up. He fixed the phone completely so that the phone was useable again. I paid for the parts to be replaced and paid for the labor. I was ultimately satisfied. And my legal matter was resolved in my favor because of this action."
