"Me and my friend went to the Somers nails salon in Somers New York. To going there we called to confirm that they had acrylic nails and they said that they had them. We show up and they start doing the nails and I noticed that for the dipping powder is SNS. For acrylic, you dip it in The acrylic liquid and apply it with the brush, and when I confronted them about it, they started yelling at me. They were telling me that the acrylic is more money and I looked at the lady and I told her I’m not worried about the money you know I booked an appointment for acrylic nails with me and my friend but since you’re already started doing the SNS Nails whatever it is you can continue doing it because I don’t have time to waste. Also, about the design I wanted they were telling me it’s gonna be extra, but in a very demanding Manner and very rude. Everything was very rushed, and it made me feel very Uncomfortable. I also got a pedicure. It was so rushed, and when I was drying my nails for my pedicure, the lady was hounding me about paying her and tipping her but the lady who originally did my nails left so I couldn’t tip her and they insisted me giving them money but I don’t know if they were going to keep it for themselves or actually give it to her so I asked them if she can. I give it to her and they said no leave it here and was yelling. Tipping is not a requirement tipping is based off of good service, kindness , Quality and comfortability To be honest with you, I only Tipped $15 on top of spending 120 bucks and the lady I heard her she Scoffed and said She only tipped 15 bucks very rude never coming to this place ever again."

"I absolutely love the ladies at Somers Nails. They are the most professional and talented manicurists/pedicurists I have found in over 10 years living in the area. Great extras, like massages too!"

"Honestly the worst place to get nails done... if it didnt happen to be right down the road I would never go. Went with my 3 year old for a special treat.. asked for Non Toxic nail polish and they couldn't be bothered - "yea yea pick a color" is what I got. I should have walked out there. The girl I got seemed annoyed to be there, no effort whatsoever - worst pedicure I ever received. Of course whole time shes having a convo in her language w the girl on the other side of the room. But they do know how to charge you! $35 for my tiny 3 year olds mani pedi... they hardly did anything (there is nothing to do! I figured max $20) and my basic and pathetic mani pedi was $43.. and because I am a good person I still left each girl a tip. I hope everyone thinks twice about getting there nails done at somers nails. Pathetic."
