The Victory

"Elevators are ALWAYS broken/taken by staff (people get stuck in them all the time), water is dirty, Fetner not responsive, facade has been in the works forever, etc..."

"STAY AWAY!! I have lived in the Victory for a year now and will not be renewing my lease. I wish I had read all the negative reviews before I signed a lease here. The fridge, AC, and drain were constantly not working and I had to call maintenance very frequently. I have had to throw away hundreds of dollars of groceries because the Fridge would stop working and maintenance has not come to fix it. The AC would also stop working during the hottest months, which made the apartment almost unlivable. Finally, but most importantly, the building is right on the Lincoln Tunnel which means that there is constant honking and noises until 3 AM. I am not a light sleeper but I have been up many many nights to the point where it started affecting my work and I had to sleep at other people’s apartments. UPDATE: Since writing this review, the doorman has come up to my apartment accusing me and being very rude to me. As well as telling very personal things about me to my guests. Further, my fridge stopped working and no one has come to fix this issue.This is very inappropriate and unprofessional and I should have wrote this review after I moved out if I knew that there would be retaliation."

"Couldn't thank Richard enough for the help throughout the leasing process. He was always punctual and precise, left no room for confusion. We just moved in a few weeks ago and I have to say the building is awesome. The doormen are the best ever - the building staff overall has been an absolute pleasure. We had a few cosmetic concerns when we moved in and they were handled almost immediately! Our lease just started, but so far I have nothing but great things to say."

"One of the worst buildings I have stayed at, the only good thing about this building are the doorman who are so nice and deserve more! I moved here Feb 2022 and just moved out, but they haven't settled my account yet and it's been a year. When we moved in, the management never responded to anything, I didn't even get my access to the gym all year, the doorman had to let me in every time. Any question we had on our lease or rent, we didn't receive a response. It was so disappointing and ridiculous. The flex wall policy is the worst in the building too, they make you pay cash which is overpriced as well for a bookshelf wall. Now, our lease stated that we get a month free / we get some credit back. The building didn't honor the full concession and now they are charging me for this. It's absolutely crazy how any times I have emailed them and tried following up, but there was barely any response. The accounting department won't respond to any of the questions or concerns and now they won't return my full security deposit. Avoid this building if you can, horrible customer service."

"Don't know what the negative reviews are about, absolutely love living here. Awesome floor to ceiling view, great area, super attentive staff, renovated gym is great (huge time saver having it in the building), decent price. Highly recommended."
