"I'm a former resident of 19 Dutch Street. I moved out over a month ago. I still haven't received my security deposit back from the building. Immediately after I moved out, I received a statement from the previous management company - Greystar - which indicated the amount that is (yet) to be refunded. A week after I moved out, the management company of the building changed. Both the former (Greystar) and the current management (Bozzuto) companies keep telling me to reach out to the other company for my check. The behaviour of both companies is very unprofessional. It should not be my responsibility to constantly ask for something that I'm legally entitled to. The management companies and the ownership should have figured this out among themselves during the transition period. Needless to say, this is very disappointing. I really thought that I had found a great place to stay if I decided to move back to the financial district. However, after the lack of initiative from the building to make things right, I cannot recommend staying here."

"It’s already my 4th lease with the building, and let me tell you that a lot has change since the moment it got acquired by another company. First of all, the maintenance of the sky lounge got worse, the building removed so much furniture from there, without telling people why that happened, or if it will ever return. In addition, the quality of furniture got worse, since they don’t maintain it. Also, the flower arrangements in the lobby became basic, along with Christmas decorations that became basic as well in the building in comparison to what they were when the building was owned by Greystar. For example, we are already at the end of November, and the building still did not set up Christmas decorations. It’s clear that they are cutting costs by a lot. In addition, the building used to hold way more monthly networking events to meet the community in the building. As a long resident of the building I truly hope that management can consider the above, and make some changes, so that we can remember what the old 19 Dutch used to be."

"Our experience with Daniel from the leasing office was the best. He truly does his best to accommodate you- would highly recommend working with him. We stayed at 19 dutch for 2 years and had a great experience there. The units are beautiful and amenities are amazing"

"We have been tenants of 19 Dutch for 3.5 years and the reason why we have stayed so long is because of the great experience we've had at the building. Our building is clean, with modern amenities (gym, lounge, rooftop etc) and friendly staff. The doorman staff, maintenance team and mailroom are friendly and helpful with any issues we have. The apartment is spacious and airy with modern fixtures. We have floor to ceiling windows which give us so much sunlight. We have access to the rooftop on the 64th floor which has unbeatable views of the city. We sometimes joke that this is the 'best rooftop bar in NYC!'. (See my photo for an example). The highlight of our experience is also the friendly neighbourhood community in the building. Over the years we have made many friends and the building organises monthly events which are fun and thoughtful which actually cultivate real relationships. There are very few buildings that compare to 19dutch and the complete package it offers from the apartment, amenities and building culture."
